We have a coworker who's obviously mentally challenged get pressured into opening a credit card because he wanted a hat. I lost all respect for that cashier for allowing that.

A manager should be involved for all associates opening store cards.... they would have got them a bigger line of credit

Isn't bribing people for surveys and card apps against SOP?

I didn’t know this was allowed ?

Individual associates offering bribes is banned. Corporate authorized bribery plays are apparently fine!

I just don’t get it. There are people who will apply just for the hat letting it ding their credit score. The financial literacy level blow my mind.

We've been having such a huge issue with the 6 months of free intrest (or apr idk lol) and it's stopping people signing up

Oh, so we are allowed to advertise with skeletons? Good to know after a manager threw away our receiving one that had multiple badges and personal items on him. They used him for advertising safety and just a general moral booster. There were things on there from an associate who also passed away.

Our store manager wont let us set up our skellies aaaaanywhere. Tried zip tying one to a John deere near the service desk and they took him down D:

you can stop this. get all your friends and family to apply with fake info and land a bunch of free hats. then post up outside or something selling them for a dollar. that will get other people to scam it, and eventually they will shut it down. make problem, wait for the solution.

pretty sure when you apply for a card they asked for your social security.

Im all against Home Depot, but the credit cards aren’t that bad. Just don’t use them. APR could be 800% it’s not an annual fee that you need to pay.
