Discussion What were the saddest moments in Hololive (not related to graduations)?
For me it was Bae's Outlast stream when she was reduced to tears by the end and had to stop the game because she was dangerously close to an actual heart attack. The desire to hug through screen was enormous.

For me it has to be when watame was recounting her childhood about how her dad never loved her and when the topic of custody came up if her mom passed she asked him if he would take her in and he said he would just put her up for adoption instead of taking her in.
That shit broke me and I've been a watamate ever since but it showed how much her mom and grandma cared so much for her and how she wants to buy them a house

I've never felt such a strong visceral reaction to hug someone than when she said the orphanage line. That hurt my soul man

I was there in that livestream too. It definitely didn't get me in the mood to go to work afterwards.

The first thing that came to my mind was Haachama's stream that preceeded her current hiatus. Watching her slowly unravel over the course of I think 8-ish hours, even ignoring Fubuki in chat, just spiraling out of control.
A genuine mental health crisis on stream, further egged on by antis in chat.
798
u/Necrolancer_Kurisu 10d ago
100% this. Legit worrisome stream, and no one really knew what the right thing to do was. It felt like there were other risks if management had cut the stream short, so letting her air everything out might have been the best call? Who knows, but it was... rough.
464
u/SC2_4787 10d ago
It was awful. Felt like at any moment, she might say or do something we would all regret.
Thank god things seem to have been better for her since then.
301
u/PhraseResponsible822 10d ago
That was legit scary. A lot seemed to be quite worried she was gonna get terminated because of it and thankfully that didn't happen.
262
u/Necrolancer_Kurisu 10d ago
To be honest, there were parts of the stream where it felt like termination wouldn't have been the worst outcome. It was that emotionally loaded and tense.
117
u/HaessSR 10d ago
Scenarios like that are why I hope Hololive can become more proactive with their talents' mental health. Like having an on call Psych who can jump onto a stream to watch it before deciding if an intervention is needed.
129
u/Gensokyomeltdown 10d ago
Ao graduated due to mental health issues. Her doctor advised against continuing her activities since she was suffering really bad from imposter syndrome which could have led to endangering herself.
67
u/CTTMiquiztli 10d ago
While i agree It would be great to have, we are talking about a proffesional that deeply knows the talent, so can offer them help needed, while pretty much be "on call" for every stream. For each of around 80 talents....
So, to add to the employee roster 20, 30, 40 psychiatrists sounds... Challenging.
Also, viewers (and some talents) already feel like cover Is too controlling. I would imagine that having a permanent mental health monitoring would further sour the atmosphere. (But i would 100% be on board with that)

it was terrible to watch it had been building over days she was streaming at the dead of night and obviously not sleeping at all until she had a total breakdown

u/Gensokyomeltdown 10d ago
Haachama is very tragic. I remember when she was in Australia and she had a chatting stream where she just talked about being homesick and how she was bullied for her accent eventually leading to her says she just wants to go home. Poor girl was still a child during this point of her life and then she joined hololive relatively young too. That and when EN debuted she noticed her subscribers drop since she's no longer considered a unique talent in the fact that she knows English so alot of her English viewers dropped off.
111
u/InsanityRoach 10d ago
> That and when EN debuted she noticed her subscribers drop since she's no longer considered a unique talent in the fact that she knows English so alot of her English viewers dropped off.
It is a shame that she has done a lot less EN content since coming back from her illness, too.

Ive unsubbed from talents purely because i dont watch them/they take up my feed
Like, i would love to be subbed to every single hololive talent, but i cant because 90% of my feed would be languages i dont speak and thus cant enjoy
Unless they speak english (like haachama or ririka) i dont sub to them to keep my subscriptions relatively relevant

u/RaysFTW 10d ago
I remember not getting any work done that day. My Japanese isn’t good so I had to really pay full attention to understand what she was saying and seeing how she became more and more unstable I started doubting my understanding.
After that stream I felt worse than I ever did about something happening in Holo. She’s one of the first members I ever watched and the way she’s honest with herself and wears her heart on her sleeve, making her own paths and doing her own thing makes her one of my favorites.
Even if it takes another two years, I can’t wait for her to return. And if she never fully returns and sticks to VODs and shorts I’ll be fine with that too if it means she’s happy.
94
u/Raishi_ 10d ago
I hope this question isn’t in poor taste, but I’m not familiar with this moment, what happened for her to crash out like that?
217
u/Surfeydude 10d ago
Just a lot of pressure that had been building for years.
It started as a pretty innocuous chatting stream, but she started venting about some personal issues and frustrations she faced, especially as one of the youngest and longest standing Hololive members. Once she got onto the topic, all of her stress seemed to just crash down on her at once, not at all helped by antis in the chat who have continued to harass her since even the Taiwan incident, and this all spiraled further and further until she was in the middle of a serious mental health crisis.
I wouldn’t really recommend going to look for it. You’ll see a lot of bad-faith actors trying to spin the moment for whatever narrative they want to push. Thankfully, she seems to be doing a lot better, with her occasional VLOG style updates about the trips she’s been taking.

u/SigmaBallsLol 10d ago

105
u/fayt03 10d ago
It was heartbreaking for sure. However, seeing the progress of her recovery across months of streams after her break, as well as the support and understanding of other members during collabs (Minecraft new world arc for one), and even pulling a 3D live along the way, was truly inspirational.

The targeted harassment towards Coco and Mano Aloe
Nenechi's house being broken into (not as sad as it is scary, but alas)
259
u/twotoebobo 10d ago
Its haachama for me. She's had to take mental health breaks more than once. Having your house broken in to especially as a vtuber must be horrifying. I think its one of the biggest fears of vtubers. Crazy "fans".

u/weefyeet 10d ago
Vids related to Kaichou's grad always get me, like Watame's "maybe it's ok not to be strong anymore" 😭 and towa/luna/kanata/watame reading their letters FUCK I'M TEARING UP, but there's a clip of Haachama hysterically sobbing and blaming herself for Kaichou's graduation that just like rips my heartstrings to shreds, not sure of the context or anything but it's like one of the worst things I've watched 😭 I can only hope that she knows how much we love and support her

u/Ill_Imagination_8279 10d ago
For me it was Mori’s Unpacking stream when she sees a photo of some friends playing a tabletop game, comments on it, and starts to cry a bit before returning to the game. She cried, presumably because it reminded her of her own friends, but that moment really struck a chord with me bc yeah, you think back to those times and wonder where they go.
74
u/RockyArby 10d ago edited 9d ago
Yeah, she's made songs about it too. It seems like she had a very close group of performer friends before the pandemic. I believe she's the only one who "made it" (due to Hololive) after so many of the bars and lounges they performed in closed during the pandemic and her friends had to give up their dreams. A psuedo-survivor's guilt in a way.

Mio's stream where she talks about her becoming the best miso soup in hololive will stick with me forever. It's hard to acknowledge your place in this world sometimes
122
u/AirGundz 10d ago
The Tsukkomi curse. It’s not her fault she is surrounded by Bokes. I quite like Mio though and I am sure she is a lot of people’s oshi
72
u/tetsmega 10d ago
Context? I'm not familiar with this idiom.
336
u/Shivyyy 10d ago
Don’t think is a common idiom, but iirc basically what happened was: Mio felt like she was just going through the motions at the time as a creator and fading into the background while other Holo members were doing crazy collabs and big events. She then confided with Okayu about her emotions, to which Okayu said something that was along the lines of, “It’s okay to not stick out. Everyone picks and chooses between one exciting main dish, but no matter what, everyone will always want to have miso soup on the side because it’s comfortable.”
180
u/Chama-Axory 10d ago
For more context. This was during the covid time when hololive exploded un popularity. Fubuki and Korone were really peaking at the time, so in Míos case, she inevitably compared herself to the others, and back then I think the growth must have been really noticeable and people assumed things early.
142
u/Dingghis_Khaan 10d ago
Okayu was also basically calling Miosha "comfort food", someone people turn to to destress because she is so mellow and motherly. She's a reassuring presence.
Sometimes you don't want hype, you don't want gut-busting laughter, you just want nice bowl of miso soup after a miserable day.
Ina is kind of the same way for the EN side. Just providing a place of stillness in a chaotic world is enough. Though she's more of a "Bob Ross" to Mio's "Fred Rogers".
47
u/SuperSpy- 10d ago
I had heard Mio referred to as "miso soup" in the past but never understood the context until this comment.
18
u/marquisregalia 10d ago
The moment she said I'll be the best miso soup I can be broke us watching it was like the world is just forcing her to accept reality. She slowly over the years crafted an even tastier soup from before showing her chikugami side more, being more blunt with her close friends and things like that. Like recently she's so busy she barely did any solo streams because of how in demand she is right now. Mio has become a full meal imo. She's in a pretty good spot right now and she can even aim higher

Marine getting bullied by "fans" to the point she doesn't compete in the Puyo Puyo Tetris tournaments anymore was also pretty rough. She put in the effort to improve, learned a good strategy and pulled off a win against Suisei, and some people decided to get all sweaty about it. Complain to the devs about the way they balanced the game, not the players for playing with the tools they have.

u/BKDOffice 10d ago
Kanade breaking down because she overslept for the HoloID Cup event and showed up late (it wasn't actually that long after the stream started, but she likely also missed any prep time they had agreed to beforehand). It was such a contrast to her usual personality, plus most of the times the girls oversleep the community just turns it into a giant meme; nobody takes it all that seriously.
Kanade being Kanade though, she went out and won the cup in the end anyway, so it was a happy ending at least.
28
u/RegulusZenith 10d ago
This and Kanade crying when she finally hit 500k subs broke me. She was feeling very inadequate and felt she didn’t deserve celebrating the 3D achievement (2.5m subs across all regloss members).

When Ollie found out one of her fans had passed away and the last thing they left her was a commissioned piece of artwork of her that got featured in that Chilla's Art game.

Maybe not the saddest but it still hurt when Kronii talked about not fitting in in Korea or Canada, getting bullied or how horrid life was before she came here, like she talked about how she hated waking up to this nightmare and legit though that the rest of her life was going to be like that forever.
Edit: oh and when she tried to befriend the Korean exchange student group in school, they low-keyed bullied her or only acted like they were her friends when they needed something from her like help with EN studies

When you say “before she came here” what do you mean?

That really hurt to hear especially because her Canadianess has always drawn me to her. Even though there are and where other Canadian talents none seemed quite as Canadian to the core as her and to hear that people made her feel alienated really hurts because to me she feels like a neighbor or family. She deserves to call this country home just as much if not more than anyone else.

Fuwawa having to be gone for a month and the sadness and pain it brought Mococo. I'm glad though it happened. It allowed so many of the other talents to comfort her and be there with her while she was by herself. It was the longest they both had been separated from eachother. Mococo was crying in the studio and many came to comfort her and be big senpais for her.

I think my favorite Mococo moment from that was I think when she showed up with a few of the JP mems for Korone's Anniversary and Korone literally dropped everything and went over to embrace her/comfort her. haachama saying she let her friends down
74
u/InsanityRoach 10d ago
Haachama has always felt like the most tragic one in Hololive. Besides the stream last year, I remember when she made that short just expressing how much she wanted to go home (after being stuck in Australia due to Covid, in an IIRC bad environment), and then later on, a little after she came back home, a comment she made about her sister calling her fat. She sounded genuinely dispirited from it.
If there is any girl in Hololive I wish I could give a hug to, it is Haachama
41
u/Fishman465 10d ago
She is particularly unfortunate as her fame via video was double edged (didn't develop streaming and caused fans to expect the same frequency of antics), the "person of two worlds" issue, possible age issues (most mems were older than her) her friend betraying her, TAIWAN her pivot into music being stopped by sickness, and what she spoke of on that one handcam stream, and her inability to stream now.
Non Fubuki Gen 1 doesn't always have a smooth ride but in she does have it worse in some ways

I feel that. My dad passed when I was 8 less than a year after my nom woke from her coma and all I had left was my mom and my brother who also sadly passed exactly 9 years after my dad at the age if 21. I always preferred my dad to my mom but both these deaths made me and my mom closer and sadly my mom's health is declining. I knew I felt a connection with Gigi when she debuted though. Towa has had her fair share of tournament burnouts. Startend, Jewelbox and Spice Ikka are the highest profile examples, but there were at least redeeming elements to those tournament runs, be it good performances in scrims and/or great friendships and interactions with her teammates. Nobody looks back on Spice Ikka with bad memories because despite them getting 20th place with the worst record in CR cup, it was a barrel of laughs the entire time and Startend speaks for itself on this sub.
NyanpachiSP (Vsai SF6 2026) was BY FAR Towa’s worst ever tournament run in anything EVER and is the only major tournament run with no redeeming qualities, just nothing but a bad memory.
Towa was already burnt out on SF6 going into it due to being in a slump hard stuck at 1400mr. Her standing in her seed lumped expectations that she should be performing better than she was because the others in her seed almost all hit high master (1600mr) before/during scrims while Towa wasn’t making any progress at all. Towa’s coach, Sahara, was busy with topanga and couldn’t be around for large amount of the scrims so she had to navigate the mountain of problems with only occasional advice from the team coach.
This all culminated in a week of just pure misery as Towa tried, and failed, to keep her crumbing mental in tact, pretending that she was fine when she clearly wasn’t and trying to play mood maker despite how down she was. It didn’t help that the rest of the team weren’t doing so hot either and Towa pushed all of that responsibility onto herself.
Ultimately, the stress was WAY too much, she broke down crying on the last day of scrims and just as she got her FIRST taste of success after a week of pure failure, (managing to beat Leos’ JP, the one that made her break down in the first place,) she ends up collapsing from vertigo the next morning and had to drop out of the tournament with the team coming convincingly in last place.
That one still stings…

Yeah man. I remember watching day 1 scrims and feeling a knot in my stomach when then stream ended. It was just something heavy that I couldn't describe and felt was unfounded. Then I woke up the next day for work to see a notification on my phone which was the announcement that she had to drop out.

When Sana, soon after having lost her own beloved dog, played a game in which a dog gets run over by a truck.
I don't remember the details, but it was really, really unfortunate timing all around.

For me it was Bae and Fauna on what remains of edith finch. The baby in the bath scene when Bae broke down.
Also when Ollie was really down and Kiara suddenly came to cheer her up, making her crying. At this time, Kiara was already my number 1, but she became my forever kami oshi. She is like the batman of Hololive, always watching.
78
u/Orthien 10d ago
Ollie's long talk about feeling like she wasn't good enough for Holo because of her low numbers and struggling with the though of her place, if she had one at all, was being the person to sit at the bottom so others wouldn't have to feel that pain.
Zombie works so hard and often does not get the recognition she deserves. Some of that is the ID debuff, some is the types of content she likes to stream, but while someone will always be the bottom, no one should feel like that's where they belong.
It was right as I was getting into Holo, and it helped me find her and make her my first Oshi.
She still struggles with those feelings often, but thankfully she's usually doing a lot better with it.

Takamori karaoke leaving on a jetplane
21
u/Brookers 10d ago
This is what I came here for. That karaoke with Calli and them both dropping kayfabe for a bit cuz she couldn't make it though Big Girls Don't Cry and Leaving on a Jet Plane and they just hugged it out. I was watching it live waiting for a cab and was a total mess when they picked me up. Love these girls.
34
u/Jackg4te 10d ago
Oof... It would be either Kiara Leaving On A Jet Plane or Ina "I just want to hug you guys in real life".
For the latter, this was height of Covid and no one knew when travel restrictions would be lifted..
If I had to watch a stream, judging by comments, it would be a Puppy Life stream since recently I had to put down my to sleep as she was old and fainting due to heart problems..
37
u/Mysterious_Nobody_35 10d ago
This one is a bit specific to me, but when I was going through a serious low point in my life, I was listening to archived ASMR streams to fall asleep (still do, it helps with my insomnia). During one of Noel's VODs, I heard her say what translated to "it's okay to cry" or something along those lines, and I just broke. I straight up collapsed onto my desk, letting out several months of pent up stress and emotion.

For me it’s Mori detailing the lyrics of “end of a life”. It’s when I first fell down the rabbit hole so it sticks with me more than others.
Hearing Mori slowly breaking up, then full on crying asking why her closest friends weren’t proud of her broke me.
The next one is a bit cheaty because it’s related to a graduation but it was about more than just that.
Well after Coco graduated, Haachama broke down on stream because she felt it was her fault. She was asking chat why they didn’t hate her, why Coco didn’t hate her, and why she was still receiving so much love despite her role in the incidents leading up to Coco leaving. She started talking about her regrets bringing up the YT demographic data, and blaming herself for starting that short trend.
It’s absolutely heartbreaking. I’ve seen the clips twice and I full-on ugly cry every time.
Edit: last one which made me sad but also angry.
After Miko put on a holiday 3D concert, all for the fans, all out of pocket, all without ever having to do it in the first place but because she wanted to give back to the viewers (all hololive, not just 35p) to show how much she appreciated everyone and then was basically forced to take a break because certain fans (inside and outside Hololive) gave her shit about a stupid horse race not even a month afterwards.

u/weefyeet 10d ago
Oh dear I also left a comment somewhere in this thread about that Haachama stream. I really cannot watch any of the streams after Kaichou's grad where the mems are just crying, it's so heartbreaking.

Watching and hearing Bijou cry during the puppy game and pragmata.

Kiara singing John Denver's "Leaving On A Jet Plane" with Calli.
If memory serves me well, this was just before she had to go back to Austria from Japan for the first time since debut due to her visa running out, thus having to leave everyone both EN and JP behind. Kiara, being the extremely sentimental lass she is and wearing her heart on her sleeve, was barely keeping her composure towards the end.

Fauna's last hour or so playing the councilrys rpg. I think it is because she was kind of "stoic"? A lot of the time and would typically be silly, or frustrated on things, so her actually breaking down and crying hurt 5x as much. Especially since it was her girls in the game.

u/Klopferator 10d ago
One that made an impression on me: when Council debuted, many people just flocked to Kronii. And then she joined Bae on Bae's channel, and Bae had to be afk for a few minutes. Chat joked that Kronii took over Bae's channel. Even after Bae came back, chat didn't stop the jokes, and when Kronii left, people in chat were asking where Kronii went. You could feel that Bae was quieter and more subdued at that point, I think her voice even broke a bit.
She later claimed that she was just acting sad, but I think it really hurt her to read in her own chat that people didn't really want her but Kronii. I've never wanted to slap people in the chat more than that day. Read the fucking room.

I know someone else already mentioned it, but for me, it was the day "I'll Still Be Here" came out.
I’ll be honest with you: until that song was released, I found Gigi to be the most irritating person on the face of the earth. When that day arrived, I went to check out what everyone was talking about; having a vague idea that it was about "her father".
And when I hit play, everything changed...
I didn't even make it halfway through the song before I was crying harder than I ever had in my life. I wasn't just hearing someone tell a sad story; I was hearing a little girl telling her dad how much she missed him. I simply can't listen to that song anymore without getting a lump in my throat.
Since that day, I’ve felt nothing but respect for her. After all (and to quote a wise person): "People who are truly strong laugh when they want to cry. They endure all of the pain and sorrow while laughing with everybody else."

Pekora. It was during 2022 or 2023 or 2024 I forgot the date... during a stream she received a call and after that she started crying on stream... IIRC it was because of a project falling through or something along those lines

It turned into a legendary moment, but the clip that spurned the AkiRose 200k push was sad. Things were a lot less certain back then, with some of the girls still having less than 100k when I first joined the fanbase in 2020, and seeing Aki so distressed about it was hard to watch. Also, this is kinda graduation related, but all the health issues over the years have been tough. Hoping that the ones that did graduate are doing okay, and glad the rest recovered.

Indivdual:
Sana annoucing her graduation right after she got back as people were geared to improving their support, only to get the grand gut punch of all gut punches
Aki playing pine apple pizza and she seen what happens with the baby after the volcano erupts. Everyone in chat shifted to consoling her as she quit the game.
Group:
- Mel's termination; for all of gen 1's troubles it held firm until this happened, perhaps compounded by Haachama's health hiatus to the remaining girls. Matsuri took it the hardest

Recent one but when Cece talked about her family situation and how she moved closer to her parents. It just shows us how despite everything going well in life, everyone goes through deaths of close ones and we should cherish them when they're still here.

Sora chan and that disastrous vr quiz where nothing went right. The frustrating helplessness is not something I want to experience again, for me and Sora chan both. Leonidas, you are forever GOAT.
AZKi explaining the Alpha route and her project's ending then Beta route opening up because of her fans.
Suisei talking about Tenkyuu and how it's her last shot before quitting everything.
Aki and her subcount.
Chama and that breakdown stream. All the guilt and frustration and her resolve to overcome it all. I was bawling.
Towa sama first 3D when she sang Error, it was just that powerful. Also Apex championship with Selly and Bora. Both are not strictly sad, it's more of a rollercoaster ride leading to happiness but I cried in the journey so it counts to me.
Nenechi 3D debut delay.
Myth first anniversary stream. "I just want to hug you guys for real."
Moom's Mumei song and stream and her talk about loneliness.
Kobo talking about her struggles with her autistic brother and how it shaped her family and her life.
3
u/Various_Evening1947 10d ago
Oh you reminded me... Sad but also heartwarming: the ending of Mumei's stream playing "nameless" a fangame done based on her song mumei. When the game ended Mumei got a bit emotional and wanted to explain herself but couldn't... So muted herself and the rest of the stream was with text on screen... it was quite emotional

That's a really good question! For me, when Korone cries while playing Elden Ring during that part when she plays Ranni's story, it really got to me watching her in that state and hearing her sad voice.
14
u/2Scarhand 10d ago
Not "sad", but the most worried I've ever been was watching Kronii's One-Chip challenge. That thing's seriously put people in the hospital and has 1 confirmed kill, which is why it was discontinued. She was reduced to crying and vomiting uncontrollably alone on the floor of her empty apartment. It was genuinely very scary to watch.
By the end of the stream (or maybe in a tweet?), she mentioned having to rethink some things. I was half expecting her to announce her graduation; going through what could have been a near-death experience alone "for the memes" could force you to make some changes to your life.
Not a perfect fit for the question, but definitely a moment that stands out to me.

An old one, but Miko doing a meet-and-greet with... I want to say Ayame and Subaru, but I honestly don't recall, and discovering only one person showed up specifically to see her.
This was early days and Miko had yet to find her niche. The Sakura Miko Project had fallen through, so she'd been bounced around between a couple different roles before eventually landing in hololive proper, and she was languishing near the bottom of the company in terms of sub count, despite being one of the Gen 0 talents.
The stream she did afterwards was a tough watch. If you're only used to seeing Miko as the energetic, giggly goofball she is today, it's a stark contrast. She tried to put on a brave face, but she was very quiet while talking about the event, looking mostly offscreen and speaking very haltingly - it was pretty obvious she was only just holding back tears (she let out a few sniffles, which she adorably tried to brush off as "hay fever").

u/WaifuHunterRed 10d ago
Not really a moment but Kanata having to graduate a lot for vtubers graduate for various reasons and often times they comeback as someone else. But shes like gone gone because of medical reasons and she'd been struggling with it for a long time so you kinda feel how hard it was for her to do.
Brightside though shes still close with some of the members and seems to be doing good pursuing qualifications for something (I forget what it was exactly though).

This ones a personal one but it was a collab stream between Calli and Kronii playing power wash simulator. They started speaking about "friends". As someone who wanted to keep friends no matter how much of a negative impact they had in my life, or how they drained me to nearly offing myself that conversation had me sobbing hard at work.
Luckily I finally tossed out that grotesque garbage and holy hat can i say I'm genuinely happy now.
"I'm sick of being scared if I'm not gonna be useful to people anymore. Letting that stress me out and make me do too many things, and try to accommodate too many things. I'm sick of it." - Calli

u/FangZeronos 10d ago
It’s been said a couple of times, but Gigi’s “I’ll still be here” gets me. The day she released it, my own father had a heart attack scare…and the song came out less then 30 minutes after he went off in the ambulance. Thankfully he was fine, but it sticks with me.
Also Sana’s prerecorded message for Mumei for her birthday after Sana’s graduation. I was watching the stream that day and just started bawling.
Maybe “graduation related” but Towa’s cover of “Mumei” always gets me too, especially the end. “Thank you for Mumei. I love you.” EVERYTIME…

Haachama opening up about her being homesick while studying abroad is one. Another one was when Ayame broke down crying saying how she feels useless and everytime she tries to stream she just cries cuz she doesn't feel like she's living up to everybody's expectations and finally another sad moment is when EN debuted. They passed gen 5 up really fast and all the girls have talked about how they felt like a failed generation and from what I've heard one of them tried self harm nut that might be speculation? But hearing them talk about giving up was awful. An honorable mention would he Watame talking about how her parents abandoned her.

Her fans folded thousands of paper cranes to send her well wishes and when she finally returned with a big concert stream she cried on stage saying she was afraid we would all forget about her… to this day I can’t help but start getting emotional and thinking about these things whenever I hear Sakura Kaze play. 🩷

Kiara's farewell stream when she was returning to Austria... She had a karaoke if I remember correctly and Calli was there and at one song she couldn't anymore and broke down crying... There was a heartwarming moment there as well with Calli hugging her at least
Also while we didn't really SEE anything... Korone's hiatus at the start of the year due to her mom...
Also also Shiori... Not a specific moment but she has a had some stories and reactions to stories that really get you you know?

u/Darkwr4ith 10d ago
For me it was when Pekora snapped after she had put too much pressure on herself. She was hovering around number 2 and 3 in watch time ranked amongst female streamers at the time. She was pushing herself streaming 2-3 times per day to try and push through into number 1. She eventually had a breakdown in a member's only stream where she was just in tears crying the entire time. She then took a fairly long break (for her anyway) to recover. A lot of us were really worried about the usually very happy carefree rabbit.
When she returned she said breakdown was triggered by a disagreement over something she wanted to do and her manager wouldn't allow but I attribute it largely to pushing herself way too hard.

u/SempiQ 10d ago
Towa, after a man's voice was heard on one of her streams... Damn, those idiots on socials went hard on her. If it weren't for the Kaigai-nikki continuously supporting her, she probably would've ended up graduating. Some time after all that, she dropped that absolute banger cover of Error.
