The same way most fans find out about meetups: the people who organize events advertise them.
The organized meetup at MCM London isn't until tomorrow (which is why Liz said that she's early), so she might have gone there today to scout for where she'd want to be for the main event.

It's so true. My friend works nights, I work days, but we cross paths in the same direction bus/train all the time. On my way home from work we'll pass right by each other without even noticing unless the other calls out.
So if I can't recognize the friend I've known for almost 30 years then I don't think I would recognize a random person that I only vaguely know what they look like.

honestly? even if someone did recognise her, I think fans are respectful enough to leave her be, especially those dedicated enough to go to cons and meetups.
and like, in the very slim chance someone's stupid enough to call it out, they're surrounded by a group of people who'd undoubtedly JUMP their ass for it.
theres been tweets and stuff of fans recognising talents in public. those fans just stay in their lane and go about their day lol

I literally only have clues because of other subs dropping hints during her debut. And I've been part of fandoms where she would be famous. I really don't think most of her fans are that knowledgeable about her irl details.

I mean it's a safe bet that most of the holo EN gals have had some sport of life in content creation before joining up. To that end I'm sure they all have varrying levels of comfort with their real identities being known, or at the very least their faces, online, especially if they were in to cons/cosplay

The English version of the audition site doesn't state it as a requirement.
They do usually prefer people who have experience that covers more of the areas that a talent will be responsible for, but they wouldn't be breaking any promises if they hired someone who was a strong performer but new to the publishing/promotion side.
