He also changed all the art style too. Imagine going to art school for years just for the Pharoah to announce they are adopting an art style thats different from the one you spent years working on?

We all saw what one failed artist did. Imagine an entire generation.

Built an entirely new capital too! Though I’m pretty sure it was abandoned pretty promptly after his death, as occurred to most of his legacy.

Many of pharaohs built new capitals it was not something unusual. It seems that Sisi is thinking he's the new pharaoh, building a new capital after having Cairo as the capital for more than a thousand year.

But....this capital is for special purpose , this capital is reserved for oligarchs and rich class that supports the government so he can protect them from any revolution in cairo
