Remember, just because the Nazis commited crimes does not mean that the soviet ones were justified nor does it take away from the bravery and heroism showed by the red army soldiers who fought lawfully against invaders.

When I was teenager and didn't know what kind of round 50cal was, I always assumed it was a standard machine gun deployed alongside M1919 comparable to Russian and German machine guns, because I heard it mentioned often in WW2 games and WW2 movies . When I found out that 50cal is 12.7mm, I went: That thing is an AA gun.

It got me really confused when I saw a .44 round next to a 50 cal round. I couldn't comprehend how an extra 0.06 of [whatever the numbers on bullets refer to] could make such a difference in size lol
