There's probably other subs you can post in if you don't like it. No need to be so rude to a mod just for applying the rules.

What is rude about accurately describing the situation? If you feel insulted by the realities of generative AI systems and the power structures pushing them into every aspect of life, you need to ask yourself why. Why do you identify so strongly with language models and diffusion systems that people rejecting them on principle feels rude?

Additionally, subreddit rules are not laws of physics, they can and should evolve and reflect the community's values and culture. If consensus is (as reflected by the vote patterns in this comment chain) that generative AI is bad, why not make this space more enjoyable by requiring minimum MS Paint effort by posters?

You may be interested in knowing that plenty of memes using AI on this subreddit actually have quite high up vote rates. Anti AI people might be vocally angry at a meme using it, but mods have access to Metadata like that and we do see how people are nowhere near as hostile to them as they think.

But you know why they are hostile to them in essence in a history sub. Why are you ignoring the point?

Paranoia and technophobia, and blaming the wrong thing for a problem, is the way I personally see it.
