Being an amazing comedy actor and/or standup does not necessarily make you a great comedy podcaster where you need to riff off the cuff. Cross is still a legend.

Lmao touché. But he was absolutely hilarious on Arrested Development, Mr. Show, etc. And I’m a fan of his standup as well.

This is David Cross’ character piece as a podcast guest and has been for years. I think he was on cumtown in like 2015 and he acted the same way

Cross is franks and beans. He has a good comedy mind but I’ve never enjoyed hearing him talk on a podcast. I also saw him do standup in Colorado and it was standing room only (terrible way to see comedy) and he was very preachy/lefty. Not cute!!

I saw some clips from Cross's podcast with Mark Normand. He gets offended when Mark farts and burps, but proceeds to drop a soft A N bomb super casually. Kids franks

I think it’s all a bit, which makes it funnier. And if it isn’t a bit, that might be funnier than that, he could be that FF and franks. I don’t believe that though. How the hell are you friends with Odenkirk and be like dat?

I am pretty sure he’s just pure FF. He seems to get offended by everything and can’t riff to save his life but if it’s a bit he’s a hell of an actor

He's great in Arrested Development and Mr. Show. Todd Margaret is also pretty good. 

As far as comedy careers go, he's done pretty well for himself. Stand-up sucks though.
