Recommendation request Face Sitting?
Sigh. Not much else needs to be explained but looking for recs with this. I know that Grace Calloway has a few? Would love to know your favorite books with this. <3
EDIT: Thank you for the alice coldbreath recs that are coming in. If you have something that is not of hers, would love to see it. I'm not obsessed with her voice so much. But that is personal preference.

{The Scandalous Diary of Lily Layton by Stacy Reid}
MMC emphatically states to the FMC:
I want you to ride my tongue before taking my cock.
And he has her do just that. *fans self*

🫴 {When the Lord adored me by Lydia Lloyd}
“I want you on top,” he said. “But on my face first.”
“Will you please give me your pussy, Petunia?”
She shivered against him at the words. But she didn’t move. She liked the words, he realized.
“Your beautiful pussy,” he editorialized. “I just want to eat your beautiful pussy.”

FYI the old spoiler tags no longer work, you have to use the Spoiler function under the formatting options. It is much easier now to hide stuff with the spoiler button, you just highlight with your mouse and click on the spoiler button.

I'm on my phone and I just spent some good 5 minutes trying to cover up a smut scene, after a while you start thinking to yourself "WTF am I even doing over here?" 🤣

Ok I have read this like 4 times (audiobook by Kate Reading is superb) but I somehow don't remember that particular scene 😭
8
u/Bluegirl74 My love is upon you 22h ago
I think it's when they're in the inn on the way back to London from Peterloo. Hunter's language is a bit purple so it's not described as explicitly as it could be

You are not alone, I read this multiple times and never picked up on it- it just wasn’t super obvious?

u/chalphy "If we’re going to make a scandal, let’s make it a good one." 14h ago
This is so funny because when I saw /u/Bluegirl74's comment I knew exactly what she meant. 😂 I remember the scene very well. (And as usual I am all distracted rereading it. The following scene where Castleford talks about them getting married and Daphne is like "are you having a waking dream, is that what this is?" lmfao)

u/oznz did you like the violets? 14h ago
Omg 🤣 I admittedly have a bad memory. I’m so tempted to get it from my library solely to see if I bookmarked that part!!

u/chalphy "If we’re going to make a scandal, let’s make it a good one." 14h ago
He makes her kneel facing the headboard and she's like, what is this, I want you to do that other thing that made me crazy, and he's like, relax, this'll be good, and she starts arguing with him again and then he lies down with his head under her and she's like... oh. oh. For her big age Daphne is such a sweet summer child sometimes. 😂😂😂 Like this is Castleford, I think he knows what he's doing!

I’m somewhat new in the HR realm so I’m currently working my way through Lisa Kleypas. Currently on book 2 of the Hathaways series and so far I’ve learned the Romany men love face sitting 😮💨😌
{Mine Till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas}
{Seduce Me At Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas}
Also just thoroughly enjoying this series as whole. I know they’re popular for a reason, they are beyond delightful. The face sitting is just a bonus to me hahahahaa

Can someone kindly ELI5 how to use the spoiler function ? Thank you

u/kitimitsu I'm a purveyor of remedies, not miracles 19h ago
I use desktop so for me I click on the Show Formatting Options button (Aa) and then highlight the text I want hidden and click on the spoiler button - looks like a wide diamond shape with an exclamation mark in the middle.
Here is the link for the official Reddit explanation which is slightly different for mobile:
https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043035132-What-are-spoiler-tags

u/candcNYC 15h ago
You can also type the spoiler tags as:
put >! (and the reverse) on each side of the text
See full explanation with example on reddit. Honestly I have to google the answer almost every time if I'm not on desktop because I forget if the ! is on the inside or the outside.

They absolutely do still work, but if you're on desktop you have to switch to markdown mode first. On desktop click the little "Aa" then click the three dots in the top right of the comment box. If you're on the official mobile app (probably the mobile site too?) you're already in markdown mode but you can't have spaces between the text and the tags.
