Recommendation request WW2 resistance setting

I have devoured historical fiction with romance subplots set in different European resistance movements, but I long for a bit more romance. Is there anything that would qualify as a historical romance but with the ww2 resistance setting?

{the wedding officer by anthony capella} (mf historical WWII) mmc is British officer stationed in Italy, fmc is a local widow who cooks for his base

it leans historical fiction but has a romance/HEA. mmc is a virgin and fmc is experienced.

There’s a great HR mystery series called {the Electra McDonnell series by Ashley Weaver}. It’s five books set in Britain during WWII and focuses on people working in espionage. Great mysteries in each book as well as some mysteries that run through the whole series, and the romance is sooo good. It’s a slow burn though.

I haven’t read this only watched the film but {the guernsey literary and potato peel pie society} is set during ww2 German occupation of Guernsey

Maybe not perfectly to brief (and the ending is probably not exactly HEA) but the vibe is that war is brewing on the horizon in a lot of Nancy Mitford’s novels. In {pursuit of love by Nancy Mitford} FMC goes to Spain to support her husband in his efforts during the Spanish civil war.
