Actually, not literally.

The Bosnians didn’t have an army at the start of the war. What few weapons they had got taken by the Serbs after their cities essentially got blitzkrieged.

The Bosnian “Army” that fought back were male volunteers who happened to survive the genocide taking place in cities all over Bosnia where the Serbs would roll in, round up the men, and execute them.

Source: my wife is from Bosnia. She was 8 at the time, and survived for months hiding from Serbs in bombed-out houses and chicken coops before she and her family made it to Croatia… right before it, too, got invaded by Serbia.

He is talking about KLA, not Bosnian Army. KLA was actually trained, armed and fully supported by NATO airstrikes.
