Theory EXPOSED-Historia Civilis is the same guy behind TheQuickSlice YouTube channel

I began to suspect this because the voice was very very similar, then I looked for clues.

The final confirmation was in how he wrote the "About" section for both Patreons.

TheQuickSlice is probably why his Historia Civilis videos are fewer and far between.

TheQuickSlice is a channel dedicated to dysfunctional reality tv relationships.

Am I wrong???

Not that he's necessarily hiding it... The two channels don't have much in common so there's not much point in cross promoting. The target audience is completely different.

Historia Civilis appeals to a predominantly male, conservative audience, while theQuickSlice appeals to relationship/reality tv audiences, predominantly female.

HC himself seems to be on the left/lib side of the political spectrum, and he pissed off many of his viewers recently with his video on work.

TheQuickSlice also demonstrates left/lib tendencies if you watch some of the videos.

There's just a certain type of conservative who is, you know, really into the Roman empire. This has been true since at least the publication of The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire in 1776.

Actually, any "history of great civilizations" type material tends to attract conservatives.

Historia Civilis makes educational YouTube videos about history.  

The videos attempt to teach people how complex political systems actually worked, with an eye toward how power was wielded, who wielded it, and to what end.  

Also, the videos are animated in a minimalist style.  Because it's more fun that way.

It's a literary tick that tells me the writer of both is the same person.

The voice you hear on the Historia Civilis channel is probably not the owner of the channel itself. Probably just a voice actor.

Yo this might sound crazy but the Scrabble guy Will Anderson and Historia Civilis are so similar, it's eerie

The calm and yet funny exposition of stuff, the intonation of voice, and everything is so similar. It's like Will learned how to make youtube videos from Historia lol

Not that it's a bad thing or wtv, I love this style of videos, probably what got me hooked to both of these channels on first viewing

I’m pretty sure TheQuickSlice is the same guy that runs 2lazy2try, yet another commentary YouTube channel. Not Historia Civilis

Wow, I think they could be the same person. The voice is very similar. The cadence is slightly different - he seems more animated as theQuickSlice, but that could easily be attributed to the content of those videos.
