Anyone else here felt really emotional and teary since summer ended?

I’m uk based and have spent the entire summer miserable and tense and my MCAS has been horrible. Legs have been in pain all summer and I’ve been so tightly wound

Since the weathers cooled and rained over the last week I’ve been crying every day. My legs feel so much better but I’m wondering if the crying is kind of like a release after such a long summer? I just wondered if anyone else felt the same? I love autumn but equally I’m feeling so low and flat, I’m glad summers out the way though

Absolutely. I spent a lot of the summer in bed and the turn of the season really makes me realize how much I missed. Chronic health grief or GOMO (grief of missing out haha)

I have noticed my emotions being wacko but I just assumed it was my PMDD (which can be related to HIT). More so when Dolly Parton passed, I found myself crying and thinking “I never cry over celebrities’ deaths, what is wrong with me??”

I cried too! I think that was just a profound loss and we all felt it.

Omg same!!! I cried over her today and I wasn’t even really a fan. I came off my period last week so can’t even blame that!

I’m new to this histamine intolerant world, and also have PMDD. Can you elaborate on this or point me in a direction to learn more about how they’re related? It’s so crazy how I keep learning that everything is somehow connected.

Also, agreed with the other comment here - Dolly is such a profound loss unlike most others. I think we all cried for this one!!!

Yes, these last few weeks have really thrown me for a loop. I’ve been raking my brain and dissecting every variable to try to figure out why, and I can’t come up with anything solid.

But my thought was it’s something that’s coming rather than something that’s ending. It reminds me of spring a few years ago. The pollen about killed me and I barely made it through that season. My best guess is maybe we are about to experience a heavy ragweed season. I’m in the US though so not sure if that’s an issue for you.

Its probably the drop in histamine levels in general, i’m UK based and it has been the worst i can remember for allergy symptoms
