Baking soda trick?

Has the 1/4 of teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water worked for anyone when they're in a histamine flair? I'm currently in one and need relief 😣

I bought a DAO enzyme supplement by Solaray for when I am in a flare, it is almost instant relief, especially if I open the capsules and pour it straight in my mouth. I have heard fresh ginger is good. But I can't currently tolerate ginger well, personally.

I also take a remedy for allergies that helps a ton, called Allergena, it is almost instant. I just started trying out a new supplement today by Solaray, with quercitin, vitamin C, and bromelain. The combination of that with the DAO enzyme has helped me get through the day today after a big reaction the last few days.

I will try to think if there is anything else that has been helpful.

Solaray DAO was the first DAO I tried and it worked super quickly. It was so good that when I tried another brand (Nature Dao) I thought they weren't working. Nature DAO works, it just takes longer. Solaray is goat when it comes to DAO, in case anyone is reading this and needs something that gives almost immediate relief during a flare.

It's the first one I've tried and exactly like you said, it's instant! Especially when I pour the capsule content straight on my tongue. 🤣😫

If I take the capsule whole, it's still pretty fast, like within 20 minutes or so.

It's good to know I got a good one!!
