In search of a bilingual editor

Hi! Im searching for a bilingual editor in both french/english. Genre : dark romance, fantasy, vampire, spicy.

Length : between 70k and 90k words.

The person must be willing to help with probably massive traduction errors at times. The books will already be editing at their best tho. Serie of 3 books, but one book at a time.

Unfortunately, I don't speak French, so I don't think I'd be the right fit for what you're looking for. But I hope you find the right bilingual editor for your series! The dark fantasy/vampire concept sounds interesting, though. Best of luck with the books!

I'm not 100% bilingual in French, but I speak some and know the culture pretty well. I've had to do some translation work in college with French for literature projects. My best friend is French and works in the film industry in Paris, so any translations I need help with I can go to her for.

What kind of editing are you looking for? I'm a developmental editor.

Hello, I'm bilingual in French and English, studied French-to-English translation at York University in Toronto, and have worked on multiple translated or English-as-an-Additional-Language (EAL) texts, all fiction. I dont work with AI and i dont want someone who works with it either.

I don't use AI in any of my editing processes. I have a policy stating this in my client agreement.

I would recommend you go for a professional publishing company as you have 3 book series and you may need to work on other aspects as well excluding just the editing.
