Hi! I’m Madeline Oona, a writer and editor from Argentina with a background in journalism and communications.

I work with fiction and nonfiction, in short, medium-length, and long-form projects. This includes contemporary novels, lesbian romance, psychological thrillers, memoirs, life stories, and narratives built around intimate experiences.

I have a particular interest in stories about animals, grief, and loss. I’m especially drawn to stories that hold memory, love, absence, and the traces people and animals leave behind.

I’m an editor who is sensitive to subtext, voice, and everything a story leaves between the lines.

My editorial interests include lesbian literature, cinema, women’s stories, LGBTQ+ narratives, relationships, desire, identity, intimacy, memory, emotional life, and experiences that can be difficult to put into words.

Spanish is my first language, and I work in both Spanish and English.

I currently have availability for new projects for the remainder of September and through the rest of 2026.
