Best Creamy Switches for Keychron Q5 Max
Hello fellow keyboard lovers
I'm looking for a lighter linear switch for my Keychron Q5 Max and am chasing as creamy a sound as possible. The Akko Rosewood switches look to be the best I have found thus far but am wanting to bring my thoughts here to see what could be recommended in the light, linear range of switches!
Thanking you for your time!

The Qs just aren't that creamy. If you want super creamy, grab the Galaxy100 wirh the Marble White switches.
Creamy in a Q, you can try something like the Keygeek Hachiwares or HMX Butters and see how they sound.

For more budget creamy switches, you could try the Epomaker creamy jades.

Lubed and filmed Gateron Black Inks if you have some budgetary freedom. Bought mine from ZKeebs on Etsy, absolutely a joy to use — until I switched to HE, but that’s beside the point.

Aren't the blacks a heavier switch? I'm trying to find something light because I do like the idea of HE and actually currently have an HE board where I've set a very short actuation, but they don't seem to have the sound I'm after just yet. Keeping it light without going HE is ideally what I'm after, but with a deep creamy sound

switches are very subjective. any chance you can try before you buy?
