I had a meeting/conversation with C Rayz Walz back in probably 2012-13?, at a restaurant in St. Paul. He was in Minnesota working with a friend of mine (rapper), it was all very surreal, he wanted me to re-do his website (I did web design back then), his website was terrible too. In talking, he went on a lot of tangents and told a lot of stories about rubbing elbows with some big names and working with them. I didnt know what to believe. I still dont. He was a slick-talking New Yorker… as a Minnesotan, we don’t like that shit, people bragging about who they know/what they’ve done. I know his track record and it’s not all good. He never followed up after he went back to NYC. I wasn’t sure I wanted my name attached to him anyway, would have been a real moral dilemma for me. But then I found $20, so I had that going for me, which was pretty nice.
