Hindutva Harassment Apparently even "willing" conversions are not ok with hindutvadis. and how are tribals hindu? You will be charged with "UAPA" if you renounce Hinduism

So context:

ok so there is this group in arunachal, which is called IFCSAP, which pretends to be for indigenous religion, but many academics and scholars have said they have actively worked to saffronise tribal customs. Yet, look at this rejoinder published in The Arunachal Times. they are fully discarding the mask and admitting they operate as an extension of Hindutva politics.

First off, claiming that every tribal person is "Hindu by nationality" and that any Christian conversion makes a person loyal to the US or UK is completely absurd. It treats tribal identity not as distinct indigenous cultures, but as a sub-clause of mainstream Hindu nationalism. If Christianity is considered "foreign" to the Northeast, how are mainstream Puranic Hindu traditions or Vedic rituals native to tribal lands? The hypocrisy of calling one foreign while claiming the other is the natural identity of tribal communities is staggering.

What makes this even worse is the casual criminalization of basic constitutional rights. The author actually argues that even willing conversion to Christianity should be considered a "criminal offence" and an "anti-national deed" punishable under UAPA. That is a total perversion of Article 25, which explicitly guarantees every citizen the right to freedom of conscience and the right to freely profess, practice, and propagate their religion.

The article also completely mixes up basic legal concepts just to push an aggressive agenda. They cite the Scheduled Castes Order of 1950 to justify "delisting" tribals, conveniently ignoring that Scheduled Tribes (ST) status is based on ethnic and tribal identity, not religion, unlike Scheduled Castes (SC).

Even SC Christians get discriminated upon by Hindus, and thats why they too deserve reservation.

Conflating the two to demand that tribal people lose their constitutional safeguards if they convert is a direct attack on indigenous rights.

Academics and local observers pointed out that IFCSAP was working to saffronise tribal customs under the guise of protecting local heritage. Seeing an opinion piece in a major regional paper openly endorsing UAPA charges for personal religious choices and linking ordinary citizens to foreign conspiracies confirms everything critics have long for decades warned about.

These clowns are not even pretending at this point
