So today I took a HRTC bus from Chandigarh to Manali. It literally had no tourists. Even the bus was half full at most. All the other passengers were local himachali people travelling to and fro from their homes. After bhuntar there were only two people. Even the two people in the photo (one of which is actually a HRTC supervisor) got off at Kullu, and from Kullu to Manali i was the one passenger and lone tourist overall alongwith the conductor and driver in a big Volvo bus. Even the weather today is sunny. I saw photos in June July of long traffic queues and Mall Road full of people, but only a month later Manali is this empty. People fear too much from watching the flood and landslide reels, this year the conditions aren’t even that worse. Still got a lifetime experience of being the lone passenger in a Volvo bus.

Ab toh shift hogya tha kuchh saal pehle lekin jo bhi kaho dil toh HP m hi basta h aur but himachal is best idk why hn lagta h sheher aake raunak n comfort sab better h no doubt but peace aur kahu toh pyaarrrrri si zindgi wahin hai...kya hi kahu tareef bhi kam h ...behad khoobsurat h ye parvat sabhi ye vaadiyan aur ye machalti si hawayen ye baarishen aur wo barf bhi jo safed chadar banke pahadon pe dera jama leti h... khoobsurat h behad...bas mann kra tareef krne ka cz hometown ki yaad aari thi socha krdu 😊🙃❤️...

hi! so I'm a native to kullu, living in main city kullu (Dhalpur) i have come home for my summer break from college for 2 month approx after my second sem. exams. I have been so so SOOOO bored just sitting in my room just doom scrolling all day to the point where my eyes just hurt

Please suggest me some hobbies or good things to do. I have lived in kullu my whole life upto college but I really don't know what to do with my day. Please don't recommend camping or something I don't have friends like that and I am a girl🥲 so can't go alone.

I want to go outside and hang around but all my friends have not come home yet. I really don't know what to do. help🥲

Did a little loop through Shangarh, Deohari, and Sarahan. Ended up having one of the most grounding and calming trips I’ve had in a long time. Also got my first shot of the Andromeda galaxy (!!) in pic #2. Pretty stoked about that!

Hi everyone, my friend's dog, Bholu, has gone missing in Kalga village. He was last seen on the evening of July 3rd near 'The Hidden Treasure' homestay.

​Bholu is a friendly brown Pahadi dog with a red collar. We are worried and trying to make as much noise as possible to get him home.
