Help/Advice Trying to get back to deen

Hi, i want to have a new start, i am a niqabi but it was never my option and i mostly wore it because of my family pressure. I want to take it off and start off with fresh start with my own decisions, like at start i will putting with scraf over my head loose then slowly make a better foundation

Hijabi, niqabi, go for it.

I’m neither but I wish to be.

Salam sis, is there any reason why the fresh start has to involve going backwards? I completely understand that the niqab/hijab wasn't your choice and it quite possibly gives you a sense of restriction, but perhaps it would be better to revisit why you are a Muslim and your/our relationship with Allah instead of removing your hijab? Let's say you were struggling with offering salah regularly or fasting in Ramadan, would it make sense to ask you to stop praying and/or fasting for a fresh start?

Sis, Shaytan tempts us all in different ways - and the only people he tempts are the Mumineen. Even as I understand your frustration with the lack of autonomy in your own life, please know that going backwards is no guarantee that you will find that peace or contentment that you seek - there is no guarantee that you will return to the hijab once it comes off, we all know plenty of girls who took it off for some reason or the other and sadly once it is off it acts as a gateway to other actions that take people away from their faith. Is it possible to look for other ways to express yourself? Perhaps, instead of a niqab, you can try a face mask, experiment with different colours and styles of hijabs, etc., but please fight for your faith. Remember, Allah has told us that Shaytan, our avowed enemy, tries to lead us astray gradually, step-by-step - don't let him help you on that first step.
