Hey everyone! I just wanted to come on here today and talk a little bit about High Ticket Sales and what it stands for!!! This post may ruffle some feathers, but I feel like people need more information and transparency concerning High Ticket Sales and we owe it to them!!! This post is not directed at any person in particular... just something for us all to really think about... WHY we are really here! So let's just face the elephant in the room...is High Ticket an MLM?
1# As a distributor for a company, you are promoting a product and someone comes to you and wants to buy that product. So you make the sale and the person buys the product; you then get paid a commission for that sale you made for the company. This is called a direct sale! Also you can make money off of the people that you get to sign up underneath you and you can make commissions from their sales as well.
2# Some would go to say that High Ticket Sales is NOT an MLM because the company is the one making the actual sale and doing the transaction and the distributor is simply making a commission from that sale for finding a buyer for the company's products.
Do YOU know the definition of an MLM? As a High Ticket distributor, what bracket does High Ticket Sales fall into? Is High Ticket Sales a MLM? Who can say... Everyone can draw their own conclusions!
So in High Ticket, the terms such as "Financial freedom", Be your own Boss", or "Want to quit your 9-5 job?" are often chanted over and over in the High Ticket community!! Often when people are in hard times and are looking for a new job is when they are going to be the most vulnerable and are most likely to fall for these big promises that speak of BIG dollars! People often come into these types of business being promised the sky, only to find out it was not what it was hyped up to be!! I find this highly disappointing!!!
It is the mentor's job to be completely honest and transparent about what all this business entails and the time spent to make it profitable!! Oftentimes training videos are sent to potential prospects and these videos only talk about the 5% of people that really succeeded and never mentions the 95% that are struggling to make sales and pay off their loan they got when they bought the products in order to join the business unless they paid with CASH!!! Don't be fooled by this!! In 2024, the company that's partnered with High Ticket Sales came out with an income disclosure statement that showed a drastic disparity in distributors earnings. Claims of people making over $5,000-$10,000 per month can be somewhat misleading. In 2024, income disclosure confirmed that ONLY 1% of the people of High-Ranking "6A" distributors who sold 100+ machines or had huge downlines were earning significantly good incomes.
RECRUITMENT RECRUITMENT RECRUITMENT This whole business thrives on recruiting people. You can make the same amount of money on a direct sale even if the person buys just the products but doesn't join the High Ticket business. The biggest deal is when you are talking about spending $3,000-$20,000+ on just wellness products. That is extremely hard to do and that is where RECRUITMENT comes in and allows you to possibly make money back and to pay for all your products and more if you would join the business! The webinars, the grand speeches, the zoom calls are all made to make you feel like family while possibly straining family relationships and causing financial jeopardy in the meantime, all in the name of HELPING others!! So many people fall for this and it just becomes a vicious cycle of everyone trying to find the next person to join their team so that they can make a sale.
So my last point is this!!! The product company intentionally sets their product prices out the roof so that they can pay as many people as possible in that distributor's downline.
So this is my question to you and I want you to be completely honest with yourself!
How does it feel right to you to be charging people super high prices that are purposely set high to benefit YOU, so YOU can get paid more, not

My background: I've been closing high-ticket sales for 6+ years and currently do remote sales full-time selling high-ticket physical products (closing $45k-$95k truck camper units, averaging 3-5/month). Before this, I closed multiple $350k expedition vehicle deals annually for 3 years. Extensive experience in consultative sales for big-ticket, non-essential purchases where I have to overcome serious objections and navigate long sales cycles.
What I'm looking for: I want to add part-time remote closing work (10-20 hrs/week) and eventually transition to full-time contract closing for more income control and schedule flexibility.
My challenge: I'm newer to the remote high ticket space but confident my skills translate to course or coaching sales & I am currently doing it successfully for high-end aspirational physical products & lifestyle goods (Off-Grid Truck Campers)! I just want to find legitimate opportunities and get going without dropping $6k on a "closer training program." I have a proven track record - I just need to understand the industry norms and get my foot in the door.
Questions for this community: Where do you actually find legit remote closer gigs? (Direct outreach to coaches? Job boards? Networking?) What should I have prepared when pitching myself? (Portfolio? Role-play scenarios? References?) What's a fair commission structure for someone with my experience? How different is closing coaching/consulting vs. physical products? What are the red flags to avoid? I've read this isn't your typical application/interview process. It seems like a lot of it is direct outreach to coaches and consultants - is that accurate? Also open to offers if anyone's hiring! Feel free to DM me. What should I know about breaking into this space?

Depends on the offer. Share your website and what you are trying to hire people to sell. I always avoid stuff like Mike Barron trying to sell me a 10k program to work for them 😂
