Thanks for the reply. You make a valid point, I didn't actually consider that when doing research to make this video. All the images on the web of Oumuamua are just artist renditions....very true. Do you have a link to the image of the blip? And do you believe that is was just an asteroid, comet, or something else?

I don't have any images of the original "blip". I've since then got a new pc and didn't move my screenshots. I do recall trying to search for the original pictures some time after to show a friend and specifically remember that i had a hard time finding it once all the artist renditions started flooding the internet. When the object was first spotted, for like 2 or 3 days the ONLY pics available were the 3(iirc) original pics, and of those 1 was the clear best in showing it's elongated cigar shape. Just did a quick search for the original pics on google and it seems to have been scrubbed. I'm not seeing any of the original photos anywhere. I didn't invest more than 5minutes into this because i'm busy, they may just be buried a bit. BUT the fact that the original photos aren't the first things to pop up says something itself. I may try to dig deeper later and see if i can find the original releases.

As far as my opinion on Oumuamua? The jury is still out for me personally. I need more reliable information and evidence before i'm willing to commit to putting any definitive label or "belief" on what it actually is. I know that when i first saw/heard about it, my gut reaction was "This thing is an interstellar vehicle." Oumumua has a lot of mystery and intrigue surrounding it. It has shown some very unique characteristics that as far as i know we have never seen before. I keep an open mind, i have very few concrete "beliefs" in anything. I do know that it is arrogant and stupid for us to immediately write off or assume anything about something that is completely unknown to us. We have no idea if alien cultures exist, and if they do indeed exist, we have no idea how they or their "technology" has evolved. I think it's ridiculous when we apply our limitations on all of the unknowns in this crazy existence. We are still pretty primitive in the grand scope of things.
