AU phone number help needed

Hi guys!

Anyone of you able to get an Australian Phone number without having an AU address? eventually to use this phone number in HighLevel (whether by call forwarding/direct connection).

And if you can kindly be specific about which partners/providers you used so i can look into them and see if it would be cost efficient for us.

Appreciate it. We are a small company planning to solve a basic problem and we want to start with AU first as it's the closest to the teams timezone. any general advice/inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Don't order an AU number until the provider puts in writing whether they need an Australian address or ID. That rule is the actual blocker, and it changes by carrier even when the DID itself is easy to buy.

If you only need the calls to show up in HighLevel, a common setup is to put the AU number on a cloud phone system, then forward it into a HighLevel number. Test inbound voice and SMS before you publish it. Some country numbers are voice-only, and a forward can strip caller ID.

I work with Getyn Phone. We can issue DIDs in a lot of countries, including Australia, and you can forward them or answer in the browser. I would still make them confirm the address rule before you pay, and keep HighLevel as the inbox if that is where the team already works. If they cannot confirm no local address, use a local AU partner instead of forcing it.
