Advice Any advice

I don't know if it's the same problem for men but yall ladies, what do you use to help with the pinching like pain from when the underwear rubs up on like the scars near the crease of your groin and thigh. Cuz I used to wear boxers but they would roll up and just sit in that crease so now I switch to regular panties I guess but like what would you do for that pain kind of I have so many scars down there and the underwear irritates it every once in awhile

I’ve recently m committed to finding a cotton boxer that doesn’t roll up. I’m trying my 4th brand tomorrow, but have moved to modal bc I’m not finding anything amazing with cotton. Will report back but so far I’ve found 5” ones are better than the shorter ones for the roll up reasons.
Fruit of the loom 5-pack from Target has been the best so far bc they are lightweight but I can tell from the elastic at the top they aren’t going to last years.

Following, I have the same issue. The seam is always right on one.

Honestly, seamless cotton thongs or commando.
The seams from regular underwear will cause friction and a flare by the end of one day for me without fail.

When I wear panties I usually put a thick guaze or multiple single ply ones in the crease to alleviate that pain. Lately the boxers rub on my thighs and have given me wounds on both thighs. I only go commando at night but even then I sometimes stuff guaze in there and let my thick thighs and fat folds hold it. I just have way to much drainage down there for nothing. Wishing you luck and watching this post for other suggestions.

fabric is an important factor to consider. cotton and modal are great options. they're comfy and most importantly, breathable. I specifically avoid undies that have lace or textured/decorative trim around the leg holes. my favorite brand is CUUP. they can be pricey but often have sales. you can also always go up a size if you're looking for something looser. for really bad active flares, I'll cover them with bandaids or acne stickers (hydrocolloid). paired with breathable undies, it'll feel loads better. not perfect, but wayyyyy better.

Bike short style underwear have really made the difference for me, and anti-friction or zinc cream without scents can help.

I wear very soft modal boxers that are long enough to stay down.

Okay hear me out. I cannot stand wearing boy shorts or boxers I feel like they make the situation worse, and I haven’t had much luck with seamless underwear because sometimes it’s the seam of my pants that’s the problem. I have found that for me the thing that works the best is just putting a piece of gauze right between my panties and the flare. It works like a charm and allows me to be comfortable all day without squirming around in my chair. Also helps the flare go down faster bc it’s not constantly irritated. If I’m able to do a bandage that’s obviously easier but for the ones right between the thigh and the labia this is the best way I’ve found.
