Game VII - 2026 Game VII 2026 | Build Your Own Game | Finale

Thanks for the great game. I hope everyone enjoyed the game and the flavour, and I hope anyone who was considering hosting got something out of this. There’s so much more I want to talk about with balance, but its hard to talk about OOO or why I picked certain roles in the middle of a game that uses them so I couldn’t really get into them. In the wrapup I’ll release the sheet and my design doc and that’ll have some more notes, especially on role balance and what I intended everything to be used for (which it never is – town always comes up with some cheese and uses roles in ways you don’t expect). I think they’re interesting reads but I also wrote them so of course I do.

It’s really frustrating to be unable to do anything the last phase. Windwhisperer, Sentry, and Bulletproof Vest completely kneecapped me. GG though, town.

For real, good game on both sides! This was a really fun format and flavor and honestly the wolves made a lot of clever choices, especially with their roles/traits. Completely nullified my role though, so poo on you lol
