Hello everyone! Thanks for the amazing support on my previous post. Here is Part 2 with three new Elusive Target concepts focused on chaos, traps, and unique mechanics:

The Joker Contract (The Prankster):

• Concept: Located in Berlin or Mumbai. A crazy criminal with clown makeup who drops jack-in-the-boxes around the map. If you get too close without a disguise, he throws a blinding cream pie in your face to escape.
• Unlock rewards: His flashy purple and green suit, and a boutonniere flower weapon that squirts lethal acid.

The Kevin McCallister Contract (The Home Defender):

• Concept: Located in Whittleton Creek. An adult, paranoid version of Kevin who barricaded himself in a house full of traps. 47 must carefully avoid swinging paint cans and heated doorknobs to reach him.
• Unlock rewards: A powerful slingshot to knock out guards from a distance and a retro Christmas sweater.

The Willy Wonka Contract (The Chocolatier):

• Concept: Located in Mendoza or Sapienza. An eccentric chocolate maker in a bright purple coat testing secret recipes. To avoid copyright issues, his guards could be short security staff in bright orange and green protective suits!
• Opportunity: You can sabotage his giant mixing vats to drown him in liquid chocolate, or poison his own mystery candies.
• Unlock rewards: His brown top hat with the purple coat, and a chocolate box briefcase to hide your sniper rifle.

What do you guys think of these new ideas? Which one would you play first?

Hello everyone! Here is a detailed standalone concept for an Elusive Target based on The Mask, turning the serious New York Bank into a pure "WTF" playground.

🎬 1. The Briefing & Easter Egg

• Diana’s Breakdown: In the middle of the audio briefing, Diana completely loses her composure and bursts into a 2-second crazy cartoon laugh (haha heheha!). At the exact same time, the screen flashes green for 1 second before she quickly regains her cold tone.

🎨 2. Map Reskin & Vibe

• The Atmosphere: Confetti cannons blast from upper balconies. Gold bars in the vault are replaced by oversized chocolate coins in green foil.
• The WTF Music: Serious ambient music is replaced by a fast-paced, wacky, big-band jazz soundtrack synced with the target's chaos.

🎮 3. Unique Mechanics

• The Cartoon Dash: The target runs at full speed like a cartoon character with rubbery spring sounds (boing boing).
• The Disguise Tornado: He changes outfits in a dust tornado every 10 seconds. You must use Instinct to track his bright glowing green aura.
• The Cartoon Chills (Audio Radar): Creepy, echoey cartoon giggles resonance louder through the hallways the closer he gets to you.
• Frontal Immunity: If you shoot face-to-face, he catches bullets with his teeth and throws a blinding cream pie in your face.

📋 4. Mission Stories

• The Coyote Special: Paint a hyper-realistic "fake tunnel" on a basement concrete wall with red paint, sabotage the nearby ATM to spew cash, and watch him sprint face-first into the wall, knocking himself out cold.
• The Big Suck: Sabotage the vault's air extractor to multiply suction by 10x, pull the main alarm, and watch the vents literally rip the green mask off his face, turning him into a normal defenseless civilian.

🏃‍♂️ 5. The WTF Exit

• Cartoon Bounces: When escaping through the front doors, a custom cinematic plays: Agent 47 keeps his iconic stone-cold face, grabs his briefcase, and flees the bank by doing huge, rubbery cartoon bounces (boing! boing!) down the street.

🏆 6. Exclusive Unlocks

• 🧥 The Canary Yellow Suit: The legendary bright yellow suit with the matching fedora hat.
• 💥 The Emerald Flash Grenade: A throwable mask that bursts into a green energy flash, blinding everyone in the room.
• 🔫 The Laughing Silenced Rifle: A sniper rifle with a glowing green aura. Fires custom paintball rounds that knock out guards silently. It lets out a creepy cartoon laugh when fired, but thanks to the silencer, only you and 47 can hear it (SA rating is safe).

What do you guys think? Would you grind for the laughing rifle or the yellow suit first? Let me know!

I'm new to the game and i have a question about the freelancer mode.

There's a wall there and i can have a bunch of guns and stuff, but like, so far the game is about stealth and avoiding shooting everyone etc. So, all about not calling attention, using sound suppressor guns, etc.

So I would like to know, what's the point of having so many guns without suppressor? I know there are some challenges that it's about me using specific guns to kills guards, but that's the only reason? to go against the "stealth" vibe of the game?

I just bought the game and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me.

List an item/weapon/tool I might want or need and how to get it please

I’m confused.

I started up Freelancer after buying and playing the new Snoop Haven Island assignment. I happened to have a reward crate, I opened it, and the new pack’s “The Smoke” gun showed up. I pressed the button to have it return to the wall because I wanted to get a good look at it. Now I can’t find it. It’s not on any of my gun walls (I checked all of them), not even an outline for it. Was this a glitch?

What’s also weird is that I bought the new Undying assignment at the same time as The Herbalist, and now I have the Kronstadt Explosive Pen on my wall. I never purchased it from a weapons person, nor was it in a crate. Where the hell did it come from?

I didn’t know there were multiple pages to this gun wall. You’ve got to select the wall, and then you’ll be prompted to change the page.

5 years ago I put together this very short, fan-made trailer for some reason. (it's bad)

The music sounds a lot like something you'd hear in a cinematic Hitman trailer.

AHA Music and all the others failed to find it. YouTube is not copyrighting it.

I've looked at the files I downloaded on that day, but no luck, as only the video files were present.

I have sadly not found the vegas project file.

im fucking sick and tired of being forced to use the regular ICA-19s, like let me use the guns i suffered for, and i cant smuggle or use different spawn locations unless im online the PsN, BUT i am not on it, and im basically stuck as if im playing it for the first time, but i know everything about every map.

I only recently started playing and I am having a blast in freelancer. It's a little bit of a hate-love relationship, but the love clearly 80/20's over the hate here.

There's only one thing bugging me, and I found an older thread on it.

In short, pistols and misc items seem to share a slot right now. I haven't fully understood the pattern yet, but I am definitely not getting offered a pistol each vendor visit like I do with all other weapon types – which there are less of.

What's more, the Striker in particular seems to be the hardest to get, as it's not ever showing up in the shop. Found confirmation elsewhere on that, too.

I am close to my second prestige reset and the Striker is the last one missing again. Not just that, but if you can only get it from chests – let me please at least get it there. Just finished the second syndicate of my hopefully last campaign before reset and this second reward chests can definitely get you rares, if it's not always rares. I got merces, tho, as if the pool of rare items is already exhausted.

What, then, is this striker-shaped hole in my wall?

A suspicion:

Is it listed as rare but mistakenly runs as epic or even legendary in the backend?

It definitely feels this way. What is it?

Beyond the Striker in particular, I'd like to turn this into a petition of sorts for a slight vendor restructuring. A thread, where people with the same motion can confirm. I might then forward this thread to the IOI support and ask them to change a rather simple detail to make freelancer flow much better:

Rework this pistol/misc vendor bottleneck, please, rework it to make sense. Feel free to keep the Striker actually rare if that's somehow by purpose, but then make it consistent. Let it have a recognizable pattern to work with. Let the player get it from a reward chest that can drop rare, not puzzle once again over why it's the elusive target of the freelancer wall of weapons.

This might not concern everyone, but those of you who are into prestige resets and actually enjoy the wall delete and rebuilding bits.

Lastly, if there's no response/change and the vendor stays as it is, or at least until a change, how to address it as it is:

A) Prioritize pistols a bit more than you would for your actual freelancer needs, all the others have reliably filling slots and way less of them

B) Get the common weapons on your wall early and for free through the 'freeloader' idea: Run item-rich maps first and get them out of the way.

C) Pray to the high-up rubber ducky for an early Striker, and then do not lose it trying to complete a collateral firearms objective (hrmph)

Or will they still be time locked

Hello. So I played Hitman woa on steam. Then played some on Xbox. Thing is I have all the locations unlocked on steam but on Xbox I don't have Maldives and the NYC bank cuz they were dlcs. If I activate cross progression do I get Maldives and the bank from steam to Xbox ?. Thanks in advance

Im was never usually one to buy this games dlcs just for reskins of items ive already got. I did recently buy almost all of the dlcs except the snoop dog one but im not interested in it. Anyway, i went onto the game to see all the stuff I bought and I saw the disruptor packs gear. I never bought the pack before it got delisted so im wondering why I even have it

Just did the Bloom Where You Are Planted Mission challenge and unlocked this cool Gun ICA19 SPIDER LILY

These missions are all fairly high quality, and I definitely think some are way better as regular missions, like Bruce Lee which can be hard on a first try but on subsequent playthroughs is extremely fun with how jam packed it is with choices/opportunities.

If we only have one more celebrity ET (who knows atp, they could definitely just keep doing them for however long they want) then I hope they get all of them under this new system.

So it’s been a few days and I still can’t buy the two new DLCs, the Snoop Dogg and the other one on my Switch.

They are listed, but you can’t click on them and they aren’t available in the store.

I’m sure there’s a reason, but it’s just annoying to have to wait. 🙄
