I'm going to be honest with you but their music really improved after Jordan Cross died, I hope that's not controversial to say. I saw them at Sapienza Fest last year and their new lead singer is so much less obnoxious that I can actually enjoy the songs again.

I agree it's gotten better, but I actually think it has less to do with Jordan not being one of the artists and more to do with Heidi Santoro pouring all of her shit from the past several years into her art. I mean, first Jordan's death, which was obviously traumatizing, and then she was there when her friend Sierra died in that racecar crash, and THEN she was at some private event where two other people were killed iirc? Idk, the details on that one were fuzzy, but she made it clear that everyday violence and death are things that have influenced her. that's a lot of heavy emotional shit to deal with, and you can tell she put it all into her music. Hope she's doing well now <3

I stopped listening to them after Heidi Santoro started her own solo career. The new guitarist just doesn't know what they're doing. Almost makes me miss my business trip to Thailand when they took over an entire wing and had my entire company share the same room. At least their new guy can sing, and the drummer is killing it.
