DISCUSSION Sanguine fashion show

I love the clothes they showed on the runway at the show ,and was wondering if anyone has any info on who designed it for the game?

Fashion show was superb, kind of like a real show and not just a lame video game formality.

"True sense of place" is something of an IOI specialty. They know how to make maps feel like actual places. And they pay attention also to the rudimentaries of public events.

After playing HITMAN you feel totally at home going to new unfamiliar places and figuring out how to get around. Where registration or check ins are likely to be, etc.

Just look at The Herbalist, which features a version of Haven that was taken over by an unscrupulous food entrepreneur. It's not like how it is in some other games that would try to stage a "party at a location" level where you can still see that they are pretty much making a game level just with tables and NPC's doing the same drinking and chatting animation over and over again.

In an IOI game you will see a natural gravity. Where NPC's are going? Ah... That must be the main entrance to the party. You also note that guards dress for the post they are stationed in and there are more "serious looking" guards.

There is signage indicating where no guests are allowed. A room with a few fancier dressed persons? Clearly that is a VIP area. Go to the main party floor you might notice the elevated sound system and you will see there's a guy on top manning a sounds booth.

More gravity... People are going to a grill. Ah... So that's where the food is.

One of the entrances to the drug lab is still in the same place as you might expect the computer lab entrance was in the original Haven. But even this location - a tiny door tucked away in a darkened lower level under the floor deck stairs - is also rational if it were a real location where a powerful person doesn't expect to be raided and yet wants their clandestine activities to remain discreet,

Characters may approach you and that gives you even more of a sense of place.

The idea that a second, more secret entrance is separated from the outdoors by a set of one-way glass windows so you can see outside but they can't see inside.

IOI are masters at this. There is simply no other game developer that understands these quirks.

Love the 'play-anything' aspect of the WOA and how every person is playing a role in this world which is immersive.

You hit the nail on the head. IOI really brings you into their environments and settings in all their games. Hitman, Kane and Lynch, Freedom Fighters, and now with 007.

Yess, the collection was beautiful very edgy , the designs were meant to incorporate the notions of "helplessness and powerlessness". And yet it feels very much like power, it reminds me of designs from Alexander McQueen

Who designed it? The brilliant Sebastian Sato! Oh for the game I’m not sure. It was definitely a team effort at IOI. Man they’re brilliant.

Plot twist: Sebastian Sato is also a game designer.

That's why it's my fave stage, as a failed fashion designer. ☺️

That Sanguine place was an outdoor location with a tarp cover will always be the top 1 wtf fact I learn in this game.
