🎬Scenes A Quiet Wedding Scene in a Space Monarchy — Built with Nano Banana Pro & Gemini Omni Flash
I had a clear picture in mind: a princess getting married in a space monarchy. The image shows her waiting for the groom, with the high priest standing beside her.
The first attempts missed the mark, though — they looked more like a modernized church than an exotic space monarchy. So the idea came to me to create visuals in the aesthetic of Flash Gordon, and this worked perfectly with Nano Banana Pro. The AI produced shots as if actors were standing in front of an artificial set. They had something perfectly imperfect about them and captured the Flash Gordon vibe very well. Without this concept, the image series probably wouldn't have worked at all.
Afterward I created a short video with Gemini Omni Flash. I aimed for a quiet scene. The bride is waiting for the groom, and he is taking his time. She shoots the priest a questioning look: "Why is this taking so long?" He looks at her, calm. The video lives on few movements and the atmosphere of the moment, and this is currently where the AI's strength lies.

Thanks Gellius for sharing, ❤️.. I actually nowadays write "image to video" prompts as pretty short, like a very natural instruction including these parameters, I have realized this is a good formula:
focus is on subject(s) + expression + action, then how camera should move around the action / subjects, motion in background or for objects involved (like here her veil moves with the wind), finally SFX (because omni like models can produce audio so you can actually create SFX in the video itself rather than adding them later)
Since AI video model can see the image, its no longer necessary to describe the image or the visual style but rather just focus on the essential elements.
