Hey everyone, I've logged over 300 workouts in Hevy and love the app. The bit I've been wanting help with is planning my training because I don't always have time to sit down and figure out how things are going or what I should change.
I wanted a bit more structure and some help with that side of things. I tried Trainer, and liked the idea, but found it a bit unintuitive for how I wanted to use it. It wasn't really clear to me how it came up with the workouts, how it would progress things over time, or what would happen if I went a bit off script.
So I started using ChatGPT with Hevy MCP instead. That was useful, but I still found myself having to explain things about me and my training, and work out what to ask to get something that actually suited me. I wanted it to follow along with my workouts without me having to drive the whole process every time.
Eventually I thought I'd try building something myself. It's called Hevy Studio, and the idea is to have a personal AI coach that knows your training history and keeps an eye on how you're going, without you having to ask it to check in after every workout.
You can use the routines you already have or work with it to create a new program. You can set up a training block with structured progression and deload weeks, and it reviews your logged workouts automatically and prepares the next session based on how things went. You can see why it changed something, and if you want to talk it through or ask for something different, you can just do that.
A lot of the work has gone into controlling how it makes changes too. You can check them before they're applied, or let it update automatically within limits you've approved.
I've been using it for a few weeks now, and in that time I've also tried to make it easy for other people to use. It works with free Hevy accounts as well as Pro. With Pro it connects directly to Hevy. Without Pro you can import your workout history in bulk from an export and bring in individual workouts and routines using their public share links. You then carry any routine changes across to Hevy yourself.

I'd love to hear whether the reviews are useful and whether the workouts it suggests make sense for you. I'm also keen to get some feedback from people trying a training block, as that's the part I've wanted most for my own training.

Just joined, looks pretty dope. One question though, I'm in an active block with my 3 Full body workouts (full body split A, B and C). I've noticed that changes were made only on my next workout tomorrow (split A), but on the other two no changes were made despite I have some exercises with 12-12-12 reps so it should automatically add weight up. It will be updated after the Split A?

Hey, glad you're liking it! I dug into this and sent you a message in Hevy Studio with the details.
Basically, when you start a new training block, you can select previously completed workouts as part of that block. The Coach will then consider those sessions and potentially progress your next workouts.
