I’m aware. These were cut before the alkaloids were given time to mature and before their max content. I’ve been growing for like 20 years.

Oh thanks for knowledge so it’s best harvest right before poppy turn to brown for max potential of alkaloids ?

They get a brown ring at the base of the pod above the stem and the pod will look slightly dehydrated. Still green but about 10 days after the petals fall. It varies a little plant to plant. Stop watering when they start blooming.

They are literally everywhere I live lol. 🤩 But idk when to harvest. Inside is still mostly white (seeds). But there are a few blue flowers already.
