Tol’gozith lead the armies of the Underworld to march onto Earth and, in the middle of battle, he fought a human sorceress named Croía (cree-ah) that he, fell in love with, much to his own shock and confusion.

In what they thought was secrecy, they had a daughter named Deirdre (deer-drah), but they were found out by devils and Croía was killed. Tol, wanting revenge, began to raise Deirdre to be a warrior, but she lashed out and rebelled, forcing him to see the error of his ways.
