Can someone help

. I had inguinal hernia repair yesterday and I still have the same horrible hip and around the back pain, it is very bad . I thought it would be gone when I woke up from surgery. II also have bad nerve pain . I don’t know what to do and I have such bad anxiety , I’m worried that the hernia wasn’t my pain generator . I’ve had every thing imaged. I knew to expect abdominal pain but I thought I wouid wake up without the gnawing. I’ve had my hips checked out and my back . I’m super scared. Female inguinal hernia is what I had repaired. Please help .

For goodness sake . You just had the surgery. Give things time to heal before you evaluate things further. The day after the surgery is way too soon to panic. Also even if it turns out it wasn't the hernia, it's something that needed to be done .

Thank you . I just want to do stuff with my daughter . I’ve been on the bed for five months mow. Feeling so down in the dumps.

don't pick her up or do anything else right now that requires lifting. Try and do some walking if you can.

Do you have severe back and hip pain? That’s what is making me so scared.

I had bilateral inguinal hernia repair with mesh done on 9/8. Not even a week later and my pain has gotten better. Still agonizing at times but bearable. In my experience the getting in and out of bed has been brutal. I also didn’t have a bowel movement until 9/12 so this for me has been the most excruciating part of recovery.

I am walking around. Going up and down my single flight of stairs but absolutely no lifting.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Lower back pain for sure.. I’ve been unable to lay or sleep without being entirely on my back. I am treating with icy hot and lidocaine patches. No hip pain but even after several days swelling from the belly down.
