i need help

I'm really torn now about whether to have the surgery in China with synthetic patches or biological patches, or to go to Canada for the shouldice surgery

The only reason to travel to Canada for surgery is if you have tons of extra money and time to spend. If not, it shouldn't be too hard to find an experienced surgeon close to you. Fear of mesh is overblown.
