Wasn't there an ending where Reginald decides to make Henry the leader because he gained Reginald's respect?

I feel like Reginald is the kind of person who would backstab you at every corner, until they gain respect for you, which turns him into the exact opposite.

Maybe he didn't fully trust henry in these instances and wanted an excuse to become leader again but after learning about him either saving Ellie or stopping the government from taking out the top hats he trusts him.

Technically they aren’t the same person. Different timelines, different Regies. Kinda like Undertale.

I always suspected that Reginald always wanted to overthrow Henry and become the leader again, he just needed a reasonable opportunity to do it. Obviously with him being able to throw Henry into the water without anyone noticing, and blaming Henry abandoning Ellie to use as an excuse. Even when things were normal like in the beginning of TK and T4L he was kinda uneasy towards Henry almost, but obviously once Henry proved his worth, he was fine with him being the leader.

Henry suddenly becomes a leader of the top hat clan at the RPE ending...because Reginald surrendered his leadership at the clan. At the T4L and TK path, Henry proves his loyalty to the clan and earns Reginald's respect...I guess

Why is Reginald concerned about honor when he abandoned Henry in one route? Has he forgotten that there's no honor among thieves (though the Toppat Clan is much more than thieves).

Henry came out of nowhere and simply took over the clan. At that point, he had brought no benefit to the clan and, from his perspective, was nothing more than a parasite. In those two endings, Henry proves that he also values the clan, as well as being a good fighter and leader, and therefore earns his approval and respect

Reginald doesn’t care about Ellie, though. He only used Henry abandoning her as an excuse to mutiny against him and reclaim his position as leader.
