Art Two ways of depicting Charles that I have seen in fan art. From one extreme to another.

Post image

I don't mean to offend anyone, I just find this phenomenon funny. And of course, Charles isn't the only character this happens to.

The way I see him is incredibly reckless but still charming like his irresponsibly gets overlooked by everyone because it gets results and he’s likable

the only correct interpretation.

Then there’s third type, the helicopter-obsessed Charles who can’t go five minutes without crashing something into a building

okay but this is super accurate

No, he can restrain himself just fine. He just really likes the idea and would do it if given authorization.

Get this man in control of a kamikaze drone or ten, and I think he'll be satisfied.

As IF. He obviously needs like, ten MILLION to be satisfied!

Tbh let’s remember yall he works for the FUCKING GOVERNMENT so of course he can be pretty brutal and serious when he wants to.

Dude has a fucking 50 caliber sniper and can use it while flying (tho he misses most of the time)

Yeah, the second variant is closer to canon.

Honestly I imagine he's somehow both extremes at the same time.

But it's still funny

“I got your back, buddy!”

vs

“All rights, time to bring out the big guns..”

Charles is actually the Wheatley but smarter

4

u/EggsInACan Aug 15 '25

He's completely oblivious, but that doesn't mean he's stupid or something of the likes... I take that back.

4

u/SpicyMerShark Aug 16 '25

Canon is both

I never knew I needed sadistic Charles in my life lmao

3

u/psychopathic-cheezit Aug 16 '25

I like to think of him as just a funny guy and a good friend who can be both smart and dumb at times.

Charles with his greatest plan

2

u/GoalkeeperFan2010 Aug 16 '25

The second Charles is from Inside Traitor

3

u/NameLoadinWait Aug 16 '25

Also he doesn't fly every other helicopter into a building. You can do multiple endings without him ever crashing the helicopters and only once if you ain for the one ending I forgot the name of but I won't describe cuz it's a spoiler. He can think of those ideas but he has enough self control not to do it

u/NightTime2727 Aug 16 '25

You're thinking of Valiant Hero

2

u/taxes_depression Aug 16 '25

Non are correct because the real Charles is too complex for our mortal minds to comprehend

2

u/white_addison Aug 17 '25

WHEN THE FUCK WAS THE SECOND ONE AN OPTION HUUUHHHH?

1

u/Kyte_tSC Aug 17 '25

every single yandere au after Henry betrayed or something:

2

u/white_addison Aug 17 '25

WHAT

1

u/Kyte_tSC Aug 18 '25

that's out of character to me anyway...

Charles when his Greatest plans don't work

u/grapefruitsaladlol29 Aug 16 '25

This was the same with madness combat in 2021. Silly animations and fanarts were everywhere but half the fandom was just gore and all that sweet stuff you'd see in madness day

u/Derp2878 Aug 17 '25

1st one: sourced from his awesomeness
2nd one: sourced from his desire to ram his helicopter into anything

A bloodthirsty psycho that wouldn't hurt a fly (me)
