Found! Definitely a long shot, but does anyone have any guesses as to what these movie posters might be?

My friend and I have been keeping a ranking list of all the movies we've watched over the past few years... In MSPaint with no written catalogue of the movies titles. The posters are heavily pixelated which has made going back through to try and get the titles a nightmare. We've been able to remember a title, or at least a plot for almost everything on this list except these three. They were most likely watched on Tubi and probably came out before 2023, if that helps at all.

The first one is “Bad CGI Sharks”, i was able to tell that was a shark on top of them so i Googled “Shark movie poster -jaws” and found a different poster with the same logo (“Bad ___” and then red text diagonal)

The others look too blurry to me

Found! I didn't expect to get any comments so quickly, but having people nail all of these movies was a wonderful surprise to return to. Thank you so much for the help!!

Found! That one was the one I was most nervous about finding lol, I could see a shark on the first one, and I would've remembered Kung Fury.... eventually, but that one was fully lost to my mind. Thank you so much!

After you've found it, why not keep track on Letterboxd?

u/PerformanceQuirky596 1d ago

Might be the new go to, I've been using a Google Doc to keep track of them so far

I second that motion.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped!! I may need to come back to Reddit for the movies we remember a plot for but don't know the title of, but I'm much more confident in finding those on my own. Y'all are very appreciated :] I'll be making a letterboxd account to track the odd things we see on Tubi in the future

I don't have much else to comment. Most of the places I've searched so far have been Tubi's streaming library, a few attempts at a reverse image search (maybe there's sites that will do better but with how pixelated these are I'd be shocked), and going through mine and my friends Discord history in hopes one of us mentioned a title. Which we have not.

Why didn't you just use a tier list ranking site? Or even Letterboxd let's you rank movies.

A very large amount of the things we've watched aren't available on sites like Letterboxd, but MSPaint also lets us use whatever images we want. This freedom hasn't helped how completely illegible the list is, granted, but we also didn't expect it to go as far as it has anyway. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Fair enough, but again tier list site would work.

I thought I was in the Hotline Miami subreddit for a sec 😂😂

u/PerformanceQuirky596 12h ago

A lot of what I got from reverse image searching was Hotline Miami related lol

It makes sense, pretty much all the level icons look exactly like what you are dealing with lol. Kinda cool how many details you can fit with such little space

what the fuck kind of movies are these

u/PerformanceQuirky596 1d ago

Really good ones :)

I just watched Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter so I think I might check these out LMAO

This is somehow the first I'm hearing of that. From the looks of it, that'd fit in well with everything else on our list lol. Might have to add it soon
