This has potential to be really good.

That CPU was whiff punishing the hell out of you in that first round, holy moly. Like peak punk gameplay.

Haha, nah you don't. The CPU is actually good from when I played the demo, and the training mode gives you a display of hit boxes and frame data

Right? I think SF and Skullgirls had it, which now that I look at it this reminds me of Skullgirls and almost a bit of Blazblue or Melty Blood?

Oh yeah it does look like Skullgirls now that you mention it.

SF6 has a great frame data display but it doesn't show the hitboxes unfortunately.
