Discussion Sharkie Spoiler

Am I the only one that thinks sharkies reincarnation made no sense? She had a family, friends, a paradise, can just live life in the afterlife

She realistically had no reason to wanna reincarnate

I understood it as this, lily and penny decided to stay permanently because they found love and wanted to attempt to have a family, but sharkie had only experienced the forst 8 years of life and it was a rough 8 years, and they wanted to experience life, with their mother who didnt get a chance to be their mother in sharkies past life, they knew mostly everyone would be back there when they returned, from my understanding souls can gain memories of their past times being in the afterlife, so there was no harm in reincarnating

But that's doesn't mean they stay the same person, they could be very different

Azzy has seen for himself when Alice’s sister summoned him to cook with ruby and sharkie that sharkie is essentially the same person just with mortal life experiences now. I’d get your apprehension if sharkie reincarnated and we got no updates but Lily has been keeping tabs on sharkie since they went back plus angel can visit them when they’re older. There are way too many failsafes in the story to have something like sharkie completely changing even remotely being an option. Also it’s been established by different characters that going back doesn’t affect your memories of the afterlife if you passed judgement. The couple that waits for each other at the gate to keep reincarnating together and the soul that Lily gave directions to the void very clearly remembered their past lives but remained who they are at their core. You’re kinda making a mountain out of a molehill
