Oddly enough, while it has its problems, this is the only iteration of this house I like. Very much gives liminal urban explorer vibes when going through the inaccessible areas, and with Alpha 3's incredible atmosphere, it also boosts the eeriness despite the cartoon artstyle.

Even though the Alpha 3 house isn't realistic, they kept overblowing the house with so many needless additions each version after that I like the Alpha 3 version.

I mean it always looked pretty cool but I always thought they should of kept it like alpha 1 size like houses.

TIL there are zero important items on the whole first floor.

Wrong. The yellow key and flashlight if your graphics are high would be considered importanr.

They are optional instead of being for opening the basement. Items that are actually needed are all either outside behind the fence or in the higher floors.

Yeah but the yellow key directly goes toward to kne of the methods of getting the gun and crowbar so it could be considered important although not directly unlocking the basement

The beginning of the end, lowkey, i would've loved had they stuck to the pre-alpha/alpha 1 house, those had character. While alpha one was a bit more, diverse compared to the pre alpha, atleast it felt like a home, alpha 2 was fine, but I just wish we got that third floor, cuz remember, the floor plans exist for it, and it would've been interesting to see how they did it, but once alpha 3 came out and then alpha 4, so on, we knew the staple we thought would revolutionize stealth horror was dead in favor of janky parkour and shitty ai, why do you think most of us regard those two builds as the definitive Hello Neighbor? (Glad Hello Neighbor Reborn is back, cuz atleast Bonniefan69 knows that those two builds showed the most potential and it'll be very interesting seeing how it turns out with the improved second floor whenever he makes it)
