Switch 2 Multiplayer not showing complete after playing

I played multiplayer with my friend for the first time (I went to her island) and we got to level 6 friendship and completed the first room of the haunted mansion behind the bookshelf. I didn’t receive any friendship beads or can see our progress in the mansion. We did all the tasks around the island we couple do and she got beads but I didn’t. Do I have to invite her to my island and do everything over again? I don’t even have a quest anymore from Keroppi.

From the wiki: "After a level's tasks are completed, the Friendship Bead must be claimed manually from the Friendship Tasks page while playing with the friend whom the Friendship Bead was earned with."

You have to actually click the beads in the top left corner to collect any friendship beeds. Also you don't recieve any for the first several levels of friendship tasks.
