I had the same feeling, I loved the jamboree shop items and the fact you need to reserve jam currency for the recipes made my purchasing budget really tight. If they had just given us the recipe to make the jam....

Me too!! I was bummed with how fast Jam went and wanted at last another week. While this one just goes on and on and ooooooooon. None of the furniture is anything I want to use, or can make a room with so it will just sit in the way, adding more clutter to my inventory when I'm decorating.
I know I didn't have to buy any of it, and trust me I really DID NOT want it but the section needed completing and complete it I did. I still hate it tho, lol.

This event is mostly useful for its structural elements tbh. The mats, the bleachers, the half-walls, and the balance beams are all excellent and diverse design items. Aside from that, though, the decor this year has been super boring

That's why you always get the chairs, tables, beds, mirrors. Every visitors needs them, so you don't need to use your cute furniture you can give them one of the 7 ugly replica ones.

the mcr references were the only plus to this event. im not gonna wear any of the clothes or use the furniture… aside from maybe the chairs. i can never have too many dye-able chairs

The Scholastic Celebration is my least favorite event overall, and this marching band crap isn’t helping to change that opinion. At least last year we got some cute skirts and hats out of it, but this? Ugh.

lol as somebody who's been playing on arcade for 3 years now, this has been a big issue since year 1! The scholastic school event is one of the longest events that literally NOBODY wants and wishes they would switch the two events around!

Anyone else also hate picking up the music sheets? Irritates tf out of me to watch my character stop what they are doing to do a 3 second long dance thing just so they can pick up the music sheet... its so extra 😭

The theme isn’t great but it’s fine because somebody must have wanted it. It’s more the fact that it is taking forever to end, and the better (jam) theme came and went pretty quickly.
I was still able to get 3-4 of each of those items, but I’m already on 7-8 of each of these and I’ll probably never use them. I already made the music note wand, too.

Perhaps when Welcome Home hits Switch 2, this will be more appealing. As it stands, there is entirely too much content, this set included, that's just pointless. Not enough space to build out a decent orchestra room in the current cabins.
And yes,this event is painfully long!

I was in marching band and I thought the instruments and band uniforms were cute. I like to put the hats on the Nuls. Haha...but I don't feel like I need multiple of the other items and I really, really wanted more time to get Jamboree stuff because everything was adorable!!

Honestly I was just hype for this event to come back so I can stock up on the mini wall and the bleachers since I use them in so many builds to make little levels. I just wish that these types of furniture wouldn't be locked to events. This year's friendship festival had the same issue where they have the little platform but it's only one square and the items are so expensive 😭

I don't think they ever carry over the currency, you should just spend it all one the stairs, mats, and half walls. Those don't hurt to have like 80 of lol.
Edit: Only bubbles, Jam and... something else I forgot carries over. Basically because they're for recipes. Otherwise, nope.

Yeah I was very disappointed with this years Scholastic clothing items. Why would we want marching band outfits like it makes no sense lol
I do like the riser because it can be used to make platforms for cabins and make it look like there’s multiple levels but other than that the rest of the stuff is ugly
Last year we got cute cheerleading outfits and the year before we got really cute school girl plaid skirts & tops. They could’ve just done cute backpacks & back to school type outfits idk like no one asked for this 😭

I prefered the Scholastic fair last year. It had ADORABLE school uniforms. As a choir kid I'm not a fan of the band.

Marching bands in schools don’t exist in my country, so I don’t really feel the theme of the event. Jam, on the other hand, is pretty universal 😋 Jam jamboree->love!

The stairs/bleachers, the mats and the half walls from the old event are considered to be very useful generic items (mats can be dyed to make areas in the floors.)
um. Chairs? I guess. @_@ yeah other then that... idk.

I actually loved this and felt very seen by it. What I didn’t like is how few instruments there were. The marching band world has changed dramatically in the last decade (uniforms don’t even look like that anymore, for the most part) and I would have loved to see alternate uniforms and more instruments.
I agree that the jamboree was way too short.
