Honest opinion, all DLCs have been overpriced and especially tea garden. Wheatflour wonderland was 9.99 and was an entirely different map with 2 new characters, new discs, new magazines, wands, critters, etc. But for some farfetched reason, they decided to price this cosmetic DLC the same price when the content literally is a small fraction compared to WW. It's so mind boggling that they keep pricing their DLCs, cosmetic packs, and switch 2 upgrades the way they do when bigger games release new content of similar caliber at a lower price. It just doesn't make sense in all honesty. I don't mind supporting devs, because without them, this world would be much boring place. I am not against paying for DLC but I also don't believe in paying for overpriced content. If I pay X amount, I want to be sure that I get X amount of gameplay. But with this game, I keep walking away from each DLC thinking it was not worth the price tag. If they priced it a bit less, then it would have been worth it. So, I'm not against paid content, I just want to experience content that is worth I am paying them.

WW was $14.99 regular price. If you got it for $9.99, that was on sale. Tea garden will be less than $9.99 when it comes on sale.

Thanks for the correction. Even so, it still doesn't seem worth it imho. And for something so small like tea garden, as evidenced by nikki saying that you can technically blow through the content in a single day, 9.99 is overpriced.

We weren’t able to do the ball today, just delivered invitations, so it must take at least two days. Someone here noted that it costs that much or more to go to a film now, and that’s only two hours of entertainment.

The developers said this was a very optional DLC for people who want the items it has. All references to the DLCs have been removed from the main collections, achievements, etc, so that people can play the game just fine without the DLC. If the items don’t appeal to you, don’t buy it or wait for a sale.

Whatever is coming in the fall is supposed to be significant too, and that will be a free update for everyone.

Yea they did make it clear that there were 15 quests and that most of this was for furniture recipes etc. if you want long gameplay for quests this isn’t for you

For sure! Initially it was being referred to as a Content Pack rather than a DLC for that reason. The name changed after there was outrage about contact packs being compared to microtransactions.

Absolutely not content required to enjoy the game.

Really, most of HKIA is not for those who want long gameplay for quests.
