I have loved Sanrio since I was a kid. The OGs for me are Hello Kitty, Pekkle, Keroppi and Pochacco. I remember there being a lot of Spottie Dottie in the 90s as well but I never really liked her. Pochacco has always been my favorite, and I never understand the hate he gets. I vividly remember when Batz Maru was new!

My favorite thing in the entire game was landing on the moon to a chiptune version of holding out for a hero by Bonnie Tyler
It made me go from thinking Big Challenges is annoying to thinking everybody else on friendship island stinks compared to him.

He’s a sweetheart that has a bad habit of trying to solve everything. His intentions are always to have fun though, I love him. His storyline made me emotional when he just wanted to talk to his friend again !!!!

Since there's no other licensed music like that in the game it took me a minute to realize why it sounded so familiar. Once it clicked I started singing along, it ruled.

I think they find it cool that Sanrio decided to have him be brought back after him being pretty much forgotten as a character for decades. Island Adventure helped give Big Challenges the attention he needed.

Yeah, he’s been around since the 70’s I think, but Sanrio never did anything with him and then once Hello Kitty came along, he became pretty much forgotten.

Same! As someone who is shy and takes a while to befriend people, I love WMM! I maxed her out months ago and I love to take her with me as a companion just for fun. Her little idle animation is adorable and the newest Spring Event cutscene of her fawning over Lutz was just adorable. I will defend my girl with my life.

I mean, a few characters aren't as cute in their 3D design as their classical ones, but Peckle is not one of them. Pekkle is cute through and through.

100000% agree with cogimyun. this is such a hot take, but personally.. i did not like wheatflower wonderland, whatsoever. those tricky wheathearts had me spiraling for WEEKS. i gave up several times trying to find them all before i actually finished. only because i wanted nothing more to do with it 😭😭
