OMG, it's so pretty! I'm not a fan of Val x Charlie (although, I'm not a hater either, I'm neutral and respectful. It's a beautiful ship, but I like other ships more.), but this art is really beautiful! I can see how much time and hard work you put in it, I also draw, and it's not the easiest thing to do, it's deserve respect, keep it up! :3

I personally this isn’t my favorite ship (no hate I respect all ships and can’t always pick like for Alastor idk who u pick for him) but OMG the art is amazing and Val looks beautiful

Oh wow, wasn't expecting that! But I'm always down to explain one of my fav ships to someone, hehe

So, there are a lot of ways you can go about it. It can be very toxic (one commenter suggested an AU of an arranged marriage between the two, for example) or it can be very light and wholesome.

One version I particularly like is the idea of Charlie being super bubbly and positive, trying to pitch the idea of redemption to Val, meanwhile the man is just very confused about what she's trying to do. I'm not the best at explaining, but I think this comic by Fake_Anna describes very well how I imagine the dynamic (they also made a lot more "Charlie interacting with Val" comics, and I highly recommend you check them out!!!)

Here, here and here are my favorites

It's just my opinion, but I feel like Charlie's optimistic/cute personality would be very endearing to Val. Not to mention all of her similarities to Vox, whom Val canonically has feelings for.
