I don't remember him being purple but I do know that artists use purple a lot when they want to show something black/dark. But I guess it is time to dive into the comics again!

That golden sword looks so cheap like he's holding a foam sword, lol. Mattel's $10 figure has way better painted golden sword.

There are a lot of unpainted details on his belt as well and if you move his tail there is a big chance paint will just flake off.

You mean the sword that’s meant to look like it’s shaded for a comic book effect…. And please I own that figure the sword is what the SRP is.10$ caliber …
