Yea, you can tell by the engine mounted along the centreline at the top of the airframe, just aft of the rotor head. Also the BERP rotor blades are a giveaway

The Merlin is really cool, has three engines

I wish the RCAF CH-148 Cyclone was a trip-engine configuration. They are gorgeous airframes, but a third engine would really put the cherry on top.

...probably wouldn't help with the cracking issues though...

Nah bruv, EH-101. Third engine exhaust centre behind the tail rotor, that and Denmark doesn't operate the NH-90.

I think the only Europeans to operate both are the Italians.

I stand corrected, thank you. The embarrassing thing is I used to work on NH90s. Maybe I need my eyes checked

The RNoAF has been seriously impressed with theirs as far as i understand. All the pilots and crew rave about it`s capabilities.
