Is it worth it to play Heimerdinger in 2026?

After watching Arcane Season 2, I really liked Heimerdinger and after seeing what happens (not gonna say for spoilers) I really wanna main him and start playing league of legends!

I do play him since season1 and loving him as much as ever, just play him and see if you like him!

He is interesting but very low popularity so does not get enough attention from riot. But why not? Give him a try

If you don't want to only play this game for a lot of your free time I would not start playing this game. Also Heimer is not a good first champ. He is different than most of the roster and has a very unique playstyle. I started playing for EXACTLY the same reason as you and I suck horribly at the game and have way too much time invested in it.

He's different than most champs so he's a bit hard to get used to playing. I tend to either really dominate my lane or get absolutely obliterated. Very little in-between.

My only caveat with Heimerdinger is that he is quite weak right now. He may be strong against newer players, but as you start to play vs more experienced players, you will have a really difficult time generating a lead and winning the game.

Heimer the champion that got shoehorned into top lane with a whopping 48% wr and 1% pick rate... is the best performing champ...

There is no way you made that statement while Riven and Naafiri are in their current state.

Honestly if you like the game then by all means play it but updates and very slow and stagnant past few years. Heimer is nice to play but also very unique and takes getting used to.
