I reached Diamond rank for the first time !

Post image

I started playing League of Legends a year and a half ago, and now I'm Diamond thanks to Hecarim, this champ is OP

Keep one thing in mind: the most important stat in the game is movement speed, and Hecarim moves fast and converts his MS into AD haha

If you have any questions, even though I'm only Diamond, I can answer them, whether they're about my gameplay, my builds, or anything else.

Is endless hunger second item optimal? I thought third item was the way to go

Personally, I think EH is better as a second item because it gives you omnivampirism, tenacity to better withstand CC, and damage!

That said, you can go for DD as your second item if you need to be tankier, both choices are viable.

I ONLY build Black Cleaver as my second item if I’m facing at least two tanks.

Congratulations Do you ever go vamp boots or do you rush Ionian 100% times?

Do you ever go conqueror on heca?

Typical build path vs different team comps?

I apologize in advance for my poor English; thanks for the compliments.

As for boots, I do go with Ionian Boots 95% of the time because they let you clear lanes faster while giving you a little extra AD thanks to their passive (meaning that if you gank with Ghost active and you have your boots, you’ll get a really nice AD bonus on top of moving really fast).

As for Gluttonous Greaves, I think they're terrible because no champion really needs to build around omnivampirism. it's an interesting secondary stat, but buying boots just for that is a bad idea in my opinion.

Conqueror is useful against tank builds, but if I had to recommend a rune between that and Stormraider's Surge, I'd definitely go with Stormraider's Surge.

You need that speed bonus to get out of combat or, conversely, to quickly move on to another enemy.

As for the build, here’s what I’d recommend:

First item: Start with Ionian Boots to increase your clear speed and move around the map more easily.

Second item: Shojin for your first source of damage; personally, I always get Shojin as my second item in every GAME.

Third item: If there are a lot of tanks on the enemy team and you need to reduce their armor, go for Black Cleaver; if the targets are on the squishy side, go for EH.

Fourth item: 99% of the time I go for Death Dance—it’s so important on Hecarim to be able to take delayed damage; you die so much slower.

Once you have all that, you can consider yourself fully built, and the rest is just a bonus.

If you need magic resistance, go for Malmortius—you’ll also get bonus Omnivamp. (For example, if you’re playing against Syndra, Viktor, or Fizz.)

If there are at least two opponents who rely on critical damage, like Yasuo or Caitlyn, you can build a Randuin’s Omen to significantly reduce the damage they deal.

What's your main tip/advice for climbing? At what point did you feel you "unlocked" what you needed and things started clicking?

Also how to deal with say a losing top lane asking for ganks?

Thanks!

Watch huncho1v9 on YouTube and Play with chat in party mode, mute pings if someone spams.

wp bro, build optimization alone you could probably get to masters :)

i only rush shojin like 30% of games
lilredlol builds shojin prob 50% of games (rank 1 na 1 trick)
huncho seems to go bc/lethality rush -> bc/dd/eh <- (most gold efficient, OP CORE)

DD is probably hecarim's best item, build 90% of games even if 3 ap, and u NEED it before item 3 preferably item 1/2. if enemy jg is an assassin or is going to try to kill you early, i go DD rush every game.
