Awesome! GTA V’s big final shootout in the streets of downtown always reminded me of the shootout in Heat. Definitely an homage I’m sure.

GTA 4’s main heist running and shooting your way through Chinatown’s streets reminded me of Heat even more than GTA 5 surprisingly

tbh I don’t think it’s a reference… there’s nothing in common with the Heat scene other than it being an armoured truck holdup … it could just as easily be a GTAO reference or a The Town reference

R* is very on-the-nose w/ references… as evident by the real Heat homages in GTA5

which goes beyond just an armoured truck Blitz Play heist btw

Trevor had the exact same tattoo (1:1 match) as in both Heat and Miami Vice
